The last four of my vin is 3774 for a beast. Anyone have a lower vin than mine and not take delivery yet? Hope this recall gets solved soon

Most Americans don't understand that Mexico is in America, even if Mexico is distinct from The United States of America. And with the N. American Free Trade Agreement, that's even more relevant.
It's almost like Canada, The U.S., Mexico and South America are all part of the America's? 😂

Has anyone who has taken delivery of their Cybertruck looked up there VIN on NHTSA for the recall?

You can't, because tesla has blocked the connection from their internal vin database to NHTSA.

People were using it to track production, and tesla decided safety be damned, they would not allow us to check our vins for recalls if it meant we could learn about their production.

You know, we've all just assumed that this was Tesla spite. AFAIK this is not confirmed, and could be a legitimate back-end issue with the database. (I doubt it, but let's not assume. It's pretty easy to block scrape-bots with captchas or IP-blockers without shutting the whole service down.)

At some point, the VIN lookup functionality will need to be corrected for regulatory purposes.

Anyone know the vin range the recall applies to?
I was waiting to post something; but mine (4900...) was originally supposed to arrive in the PNW two weeks ago, but has been delayed for an unknown reason. I think this is probably it!

There's a couple of different types and levels AFAIK, and not everything makes it to the point of a recall. I believe that this one will probably just be a Service Bulletin.

Reports of weak breaking and not being able to stop could be related to the accelerator pedal being stuck down.
ding ding ding. if so, good it is this and not something else. easy fix (though painful for those in line)

My 2010 Lexus Rx350 had a recall because the accelerator pedal would get stuck on the floor mat, wide open.
was a NTSB safety recall. Had to bring the car into the dealership to have the accelerator pedal trimmed.

So it’s not like these things don’t happen
