Am I crazy? Walk away lock sound

Walk away lock sound. It’s in the manual but not in the menu that the manual points to. Maybe it’s a newer software revision I don’t have?

I believe it is in the Toybox.

I checked the toy box and the option in there does change the walk away sound to one of the other options like fart lol. But it doesn’t actually activate it.

Sorry, I don't like those annoying sounds so I have never tried to enable in my Model Y. It would be ij the same place, probably under locks but that is just a guess.

Mine does when I walk away. I have the 90's classic Chirp Chirp on my S, but for the Cybertruck, I went with the laser beam sound.

okay I got it working! It needed to sleep first I guess. I was able to select one of the special sounds at least.

It works on my mine, it is just extremely low volume. My Model 3 and Model Y are considerably louder.

i havent ever heard the "normal" lock sounds .. i do wish i could get it to sound the same as my model 3

it's missing for some reason but looks like it's coming in the next software update

Nope seems like Tesla needs to update the software or else the speaker is just not good.

Activated and Working on my CT, 2024.14.3. Vault door closing sound (Same sounds as other Tesla models.) seems appropriate on CT. Doing a search in the Owners Manual answers a lot of questions.

I just updated to version v12 (2024.20.1 831cee498fc0) and now the Boombox, Megaphone, sound is very low. Previously it did get louder, and I preferred it that way. Now it's very low. I would hope they would code in a volume control for the Megaphone, and lock sound.
