I didn’t think this would be an issue since I’ve driven cars with turn signal buttons on the steering wheel before. The issue is that the right signal button is on top and left button is below. I cannot get used to this.. I have to look at the wheel to confirm the correct button to press. They should’ve designed them similar to the Huracán Evo steering wheel buttons. More straightforward.

Don’t mind me if you see me on the road and signal right but make a sharp left

It hasn't bothered me as much as I thought it would. The lambo set up does seem more intuitive.

Maybe since for normal stalks your hand needs to move UP to turn RIGHT, and move DOWN to turn LEFT, that's how it made sense in my head?

I also prefer it over my Model 3 with normal stalks now. It's nice to only need to move the thumb to activate the turn signal. First world problems....

I’m not liking it, particularly for the same reason (stacked vs left to right). But, I’m imagining a future where I’m not driving it anyway, so it won’t matter (FSD).

My main gripe is that the wireless phone charger is atrocious. It overheats my phone and doesn’t really ever gain any charge.

Oh yeah, and it’s a 5 seater instead of a 6!!!!

Otherwise, I freaking love this thing.

I still glance at it occasionally but after almost 2 weeks and 1500 miles I’m getting there. A stalk for turn signal moves up and down so these are the same in that regard.

It took me about a week to get used to the turn buttons. My brain thinks they're backwards, but I'm finally clicking them without looking and gotta say, it's better than stalks, especially with SBW. For me PRND is a bigger issue. I'm used to slapping the stalk up to disengage AP/TACC and instead I have to click the wheel... which is "voice command" in my brain. Now that I'm getting used to no stalks, I keep clicking the voice button to cancel cruise. That's where it was in my last truck. Two levels of body memory I have to reprogram, but I will adapt, not worried. I think it's fun learning new/different things and in this case, I think in the end it will be better than the old way.

Never thought about the button placement like that. I too thought they should have been reversed on the wheel. But know it makes sense.
Thanks Sam. This will help train my brain if I ever get my CT. Jan-Mar delivery pushing into May. I hope before the 4th.

In my other cars, I now almost exclusively use FSD, and this is very much what they're gunning for with the elimination of stalks.

It’s an improvement over my 2021 Model S yoke. But FSD is now doing 90%+ of my driving for me now. Can’t wait until they roll it out on CT. It’ll be a lesser issue soon enough.

I had to take a look at the manual as I couldn't picture this setup. Definitely seems unintuitive. How does it work when turning sharply? more confusing?

You never have to turn that sharply with steer by wire…it wasn’t as bad as I thought, but seems like it depends on the person

Reminds me of that one CT video where the driver was merging to the right but had left turn signal on... This was months back before CT was released I believe

Yeah 15 days and 600 miles and I have not yet gotten used to them. I have to look every time. Usually I try to time it so I look well before I hit them, but I do have to look.

Maybe 1 time out of 25 I can remember which is which without looking. More often than that I accidentally hit it while trying to change songs with the scroll wheel. The way I roll my thumb must bring it down on the turn signal button
