This is bullsh*t. Either mine is defective or the product just doesn't work. Ive been trying for 2 days to get it to levitate. There is absolutely no point at which there is a balance point.

I highly doubt they intended for people to try for 2 whole days and still not be able to get it on there
I have the same issue. I spent a couple hours trying and gave up. There simply is no sweet spot or balance point for it to stay in place. There is no difference between the base being plugged in or unplugged (in terms of magnetic response) except for the lights turning on. The base is rounded on top - for those who got it to work, is your base rounded?

I can't get it to levitate either. There's simply no way. There's no sweet spot where it could possibly levitate.

Moved it to the desired location. Same thing, had to replug to find the dimple point. One thing to note, bring it closer to the base than you think. And also, if the lights turn off, the base is off. It turns off automatically with too many failed attempts. It feels almost exactly the same as when its on, especially if you dont have that dimple point.

I think you're right about it going to sleep. I got it 1 time today testing. Now it's on a table final place, Im having a hard time LOL. Def a dimple and slowly let it go. It's very sensitive. I wanna get a backup power before trying again HAHA. I do feel accomplished when it works.

there's some youtube videos showing tips. Find the dimple spot and slowly release balanced.

This is one of the most difficult things to get right but I assure you all it works. It needs to be plugged in doesn’t matter if you push the power button or not. All that does is turn on the LED lights.

You bought a cyber truck you can certainly figure out how to balance this thing ?

Took me about 30 minutes. Now I’m scared to touch it

OK, I just did it a 2nd time and I've figured out the reasons why it's so impossible. As you can see in the photo, the BOTTOM part is on a decline because its triangle shape dips lower. The parallel line to the base is actually off of the main CyberTruck upper body line. SO when you find the center, be sure to lower the back part just slightly. I think most people (including me) have been trying to level the bottom as a whole! That's why its always slightly off centered. sooooo CENTERED + LEVELED from the middle line.

Also, it will TIMEOUT after few minutes of failure. Just wait a few mins and retry. Only when the LIGHTS ARE ON, the levitating can work.

May the Force be with you!

There is no difference in magnetic feel plugged in or not plugged in. There is no "dimple" feeling in the magnetic field when plugged in. I was balancing it as shown above. I'm sure not all Cybertrucks are created equal so that's a bad analogy. I would bet a LOT of money that mine is defective. Some Cybertrucks had issues from the factory, so just because yours works doesn't mean others do. I would assume a Chinese toy manufacturer could make mistakes with some of these. I've spent several hours with it...there is no dimple in the force field when plugged in and it will not balance.

Mine does not have a dimple spot. Does. Not. Exist.

I will take that bet sir.

It needs to be plugged in for it to work.

Ok, so I watched this video. After 1 minute of trying and following these directions, I got it to work.

The key (that is not mentioned in Tesla's instructions) is you have to push the truck down so that it's touching the base for a little bit. That seems to trigger some mechanism inside the truck so that it now feels as though there's a spot or disc where it can spin. I could hear something inside the truck moving. That spot (or dimple) is not there normally unless you push the truck down into the base first.

Incidentally, if you don't push it down on the base like this, it will never work, but will feel like you're trying to balance it on a rubber ball.
