I have the same issue. I spent a couple hours trying and gave up. There simply is no sweet spot or balance point for it to stay in place. There is no difference between the base being plugged in or unplugged (in terms of magnetic response) except for the lights turning on. The base is rounded on top - for those who got it to work, is your base rounded?This is bullsh*t. Either mine is defective or the product just doesn't work. Ive been trying for 2 days to get it to levitate. There is absolutely no point at which there is a balance point.
I highly doubt they intended for people to try for 2 whole days and still not be able to get it on there
