ok, who tf was in charge of product design with this one?!

No handle so you have use both hands to awkwardly pick it up and move it to each tire? UGH!!

Edit: There is a handle!

I went with a $50 (on sale) compressor/jumpstarter instead. Jumpstarter is nice to have in case you need to rescue an ICE vehicle, since there is no beefy 12v source on CT. Compressor part in those units probably aren't as beefy, but enough for an emergency use.

Another Home Run by Tesla. Has Tesla missed anything with the Cybertruck? I don’t plan on purchasing because I already have the Model 3 compressor.

Bought one on Amazon during Black Friday for under $90 and am super happy with it. Charges quickly and can also power and charge devices. Has a powerful flashlight and hazard light option and also fills the tires up to the requested PSI.

Think this is the last tool/item I needed to keep in the truck. Should /finally/ be done with accessories for a long while. :)

Oh I thought this was a “handle” but yeah doesn’t seem to have one for the compressor. :/

This isn't coming from a place of jealousy or hate, I just don't know enough about air compressors. Is there anything about this Tesla setup that would outperform what I got from Amazon for far cheaper? Maybe theirs has like 3x the power and I just don't know how to tell.

$200: 900W air compressor
$25: tire repair kit
Another ~50 for compressor hose and some different fittings/attachments.

The whole setup fits perfectly into the left side of the gear locker with dividers.

The obvious part I can see is Tesla's is smaller and might be a little more programmable, but double the price seems like a lot to pay for that!

It may seem funny to some people, but when the truck is parked at a significant angle (like when offroading) entering and exiting can be quite challenging. I used to have a Toyota FJ which has a handle mounted on the pillar, and that thing was extremely useful.
