What rubber seal? I also did not see a video. Smh.Yep. I would think big enough. Mine is the same. I honestly don’t think water gets in my bed, I fixed the rubber seal and seems better but I’d like to do for aesthetics.
This I missed. Found the video. Ours is dry as a bone there. ThanksRead this thread from the beginning. Especially watch the u tube of the cat guy reseal the weatherstripping under the “tonneau applique”
I should just test a deluge of water to see how dry mine is after I've fixed the seal. I read through tonneau instructions to remove/install and oh boy, so much they need to do. Always worry they'll break something else while fixing this. LOLThis I missed. Found the video. Ours is dry as a bone there. Thanks
Looks like mine . With the water intrusion . I don’t take mine to car washes anymore because of the water coming in so will not be impressed if they tell that it’s normal and all the trucks are made like that ..What rubber seal? I also did not see a video. Smh.

Take it through a conveyor carwash. That’s what brought it to my attention.I should just test a deluge of water to see how dry mine is after I've fixed the seal. Well with this issue having a service bulletin I would have them fix it anyhow. Per the manual a little water/condensation is expected. What we have is excessive.Looks like mine . I have on my ticket as well and also don't think mine leaks (Late October build) but I've read through the manual on what they'll need to do to remove...I just don't feel confident they won't break something else with all they have to do on uninstall...look at these steps, dang. https://service.tesla.com/docs/Cybe...UID-D62653D5-6BC1-4228-8CE6-3B3A214F14C2.htmlFWIW, my Nov 24 build CT does not have that extra 1 slat (holes are visible near the appliqué) and I’ve taken it through the auto conveyer belt style car wash a few times and I’ve only had a couple of drops of water in the bed.
That said, I still put this on my service center appt for next week.
Yeah, I had the same thought when reading the service manual for this job. One would have to be confident in the service center. Around me, there are two that have a good reputation. Mine is going to one of those next eeek (although it’s my first appt there). Will see how things go.I have on my ticket as well and also don't think mine leaks (Late October build) but I've read through the manual on what they'll need to do to remove...I just don't feel confident they won't break something else with all they have to do on uninstall...look at these steps, dang. https://service.tesla.com/docs/Cybe...UID-D62653D5-6BC1-4228-8CE6-3B3A214F14C2.html

Hey Paramus NJ fixed, pick up my truck today!?I tried multiple times to make a service appointment for this. When I arrived each time, they rejected it and said the tonneau is not meant to be waterproof or even resistant. One time, one person said, it depends on how much water gets in and they would need to measure it. Not sure how that would be done since the amount of water that gets in is dependent on the amount of water from the outside so it varies. Anyone have tips on which SC would fix it in NJ or NY? I tried Brooklyn and Paramus with no luck on either. Also why don't they tell you this before you arrive so you don't spent the time to get there just to be rejected upon arrival?
