oh now I see. But Ive been told 340 miles is the best I can get. Oh well thanks for the info.
Wh (Watt-hours) is a measure of energy, miles is a measure of distance. The battery can store 123,000 Wh. So at 478 Wh per mile, they're getting 257 miles range, actual.

Hello, it has been about a month now, here is my long update/rant.

This initially started mid-December when we had our first round of sub-zero temps. The rest of December was a bit more mild (around 30F) and this was an intermittent issue.. mostly an issue when parked outside and not plugged in for long periods (12+ hrs?). My initial service appt. was scheduled for last monday, 1/6.

I frequently use the "Tessie" app, I like the additional data it provides on usages/charging and data on drives. I can also create reports on idles, etc. I wanted to document the issue for service in case they couldn't find anything wrong.
For example, on 1/3 I started the climate at 6pm. Inside temp was 22F, outside 12F.
7pm, After 1 hour the inside temp was still 20F, outside 11F.
7:40PM, 21F inside, 10F outside.
after that, temp started rising a bit.. up to 55 degrees at 8pm (2hrs), 64 degrees 8:15pm. I turned it off before it hit desired temp (75F or so).

I dropped off my truck for scheduled service last Monday morning. They added wheel covers and "b-surface windshield" cleaning to my service appointment. I also had my driver mirror replaced at my expense (about $531) due to impact with the side of my garage.
Estimated completion was supposed to be the next day.. they did not touch my truck the whole week. received notice end of day friday estimated completion moved to today. This was a bummer as my daughter had planned on me driving her friends to a dance over the weekend.
I was provided with a model Y as a loaner car.. overall I liked it more than I thought I would.. fun to drive and had plenty of room for kids/hockey bags, however not a very smooth ride.

They started service yesterday morning. I followed the service updates on the app with my main concern the HVAC. They tested the HVAC and determined it worked fine... this was no surprise as it sat in a heated shop for over a week.
I messaged service and requested that they try this while cold. They agreed and pulled it outside from about 11am-3:45pm. They pulled it back into the heated shop and tested the heat around 4pm.. the heat worked fine again in the heated shop.

Here is the message from service:
Concern: Customer states: Heating & A/C - Heat not working
Repair Notes: Inspected for heating operation. Found no issue with heating at this time. Looked back at vehicle data and found faults for compressor from 2nd week of December caused by HVAC being sent on manual at the highest heat setting which caused the compressor to fault due to low ambient temps. Parked vehicle outside to cold soak for several hours. After vehicle cold soaked turned on heat at 80 on auto verified that vents are putting out high heat and after several minutes of running cabin has warmed. After looking further into vehicle data issue appears to be related to a software bug causing the super manifold in the HVAC system to intermittently not communicate and power on correctly. Issue is set to be corrected in a future software update. Exiting vehicle, locking, unlocking and re-entering vehicle should correct issue when it occurs.

I picked the truck up last night.. I should've left it overnight to have them test it this morning.
I tested it this morning, it was parked in my garage overnight plugged in.. my garage is insulated but not heated. I started climate at 9:15, 41F inside temp, 34F outside time. 9:45 up to 62F, 10:15 up to 71F, 10:45 still 71F.. heat was set to 75F.. after 1.5hrs it never got to temp.

It looks like they recognized the issue and saw faults.. but did not properly test it outside. They shouldn't test heat while in a 70F building? I've attached the tessie app log for 1/3 (I showed this to service)..

We're coming into the coldest few weeks of the year in MN.. it was below 0F this morning and looks like this will be the case for several days over the next few weeks. I scheduled another service appt.. the soonest is 2/5.

I'm sorry this is happening to you. The employees at that SC (I'm also in MN) are nice when you talk to them, but they also seem lazy and will find any excuse to not fix something.

I'm having the same problem and had the same problem with the service request I submitted. For me the tipping point seems to be the 25F range. Above that, the heat works fine, below that there is no heat and a buzzing coming from the dash no matter how long I allow it to preheat for. There is only a 2-3 degree bump in temperature which I attribute solely to the radiant heat from the steering wheel and seats being on full temp.

On the day of my service appointment the temperature was in the 30s and the heat was working fine. They ran diagnostics and told me everything was operating normally and they detected no issues.

This sounds about right.. 20-25F is around the tipping point. The past week has been unseasonably warm for MN (30-40F+)... My next appt. is next week, hoping it cools down so they can actually test it.
