A small baby, probably six months old, in a car on my left lane kept waving and pointing at my Cybertruck. I think he was too excited as his dad kept turning back to shush him. Dad gave up and started laughing. I have seen plenty of kids getting excited but this was different. It’s a baby! I was lost in thoughts; is beauty in beholder’s eyes or society’s eyes? What happens when your mind is not corrupted with false narratives or “traditional” designs? Of course naysayers will make a joke of this incident too!!!

Signal went green, and I came back to reality. It doesn’t matter what the answers are, as that cute little baby just made my day! ?

What’s your experience with kids seeing Cybertruck for the first time?

Love it. Had a similar story, not a baby. But I was at Casa Bonitas(first time) and as I’m getting out this rather Big guy comes walking toward me quickly, pointing at the truck, I’ve had so many different reactions at this point I wasn’t sure if I was going to need to defend my self or what. Then noticed his wife hold small child behind him. She was like “can he take a look? It’s his favorite vehicle in the world”. So I let him sit in the front seat and hit the horn a few times. I love kids reactions. And adult reactions when they don’t have to to conform to other’s opinions.

Drove by a day care place right at the corner of an intersection the other day and got stuck at a red light. All the kids were on the playground. One kid spotted me and started yelling and ran for the fence. The playground became completely abandoned as every kid rushed to the fence. I would’ve felt like the devil if I didn’t stop and let them get a closer look, so I pulled up to the fence and started a light show for them (it was broad daylight, but they didn’t care). Made sure to turn “dance moves” off so the frunk didn’t open and they could see the front light bar the whole time. They loved it. Not one of them left early.

Not to be too much of an Elon fanboy, but he did say something along the lines of “if you really wanna know if something is cool, show it to a kid. Which of these cars do you like?” Cybertruck every time.

He hit the nail right on the head with that.

Great reaction - it is so fun when that happens.

Also, I can't believe Casa Bonita is still open, I remember going there when I was kid in the late 70's. Okay, I guess that just means I'm old.

It is so cool you did that. Kids have the most unfiltered reaction when they see the truck. Their innocence fueled with curiosity truly shines. It just shows that humans at core are gravitated towards innovation and novel ideas. I have never seen any other vehicle get so much attention from kids.

Love it! Thanks for sharing. Their eyes lit up when you let them sit inside. Some kids went inside the Vault and started begging me to close it. When it all went dark, the screams started. Of course this was done with parents standing next to the truck! lol ?

I have had my CT for ten months now. I get the same reaction from kids all over the place. What puzzles my wife and I is when 2 3 or 4 year old kids jump up and down pointing at us in the CT and they are shouting CyberTruck!!! Cybertruck !!!!
It’s not the fact that they jump up and down it’s the fact that at 2 3 or 4 they know what it is. But I guess they all have phone too. LOL

I drove past an elementary school with kids loading up busses and walking home. They started cheering and waving! (Using ALL their fingers, BTW!)

Our 6th grandchild's first ever ride in a vehicle was in my Cybertruck. This is her coming home from the hospital, just 3 days old. This was in Denver during a snow storm and my daughter trusted my Cybertruck more than her Subaru. Memories!

Agree. It also shows as most humans get older, they lose that curiosity and acceptance of innovative or ‘different’ things. Really sad because the world would be filled with so much more innovation.
