No. Highly unlikely. It's interesting to see the date of this post, now, a year later. I ordered the FS Beast because I thought they would make up 20-25% of all FS, making them eventually appreciate in value ....for my Grandson. I think it turns out about 25-30k total were made?? , 4-5k are Beasts?? Someone will have the figures....?? There are some internal differences also Dash material., FS engraving .... On top of.. FSD= 8k, 2.5k light bar, 4k-2.5k towards home charging..... So yea The FS Beast will eventually be more valuable than the purchase price.....50 years??
If the Foundation truck has FSD and the non-Foundation does not, the price differential will likely be more than the original $20K price difference. This assumes FSD will be able to drive unsupervised by then, which would mean FSD is probably selling for more than a $20K premium.Serious thought. Not trolling. (People think I'm always trolling for some reason lol)
A lot of people are using the included accessories to help justify the FS cost. (Which is totally reasonable).
But if that's the case, then how much are we thinking the etched emblems are really worth whenever it comes to resale vs a CT without the emblems?
Realistically, they're the exact same truck (if optioned the same).
Anyone own a founders version of other Teslas and want to weigh in?
Again, not saying anyone is making a bad decision or anything. Just curious
Are you moving to China?None, they will keep getting cheaper and cheaper. China is making so many electric vehicles with more range at a much cheaper price. I’m glad I waited 5-6 months to order the Cybertruck.
Can non-fs not permanently buy FSD? Is FSD like a software license to the individual or more like a hardware thing that is part of the vehicle itself? If the Foundation truck has FSD and the non-Foundation does not, the price differential will likely be more than the original $20K price difference. I'd agree. Negative as early builds with more issues and outdated improvements.zero to a little. Could be negative if there are build issues
Yes, every vehicle Tesla sells has this as a selectable option. The Foundation Series had it as Standard. Can non-fs not permanently buy FSD? Is FSD like a software license to the individual or more like a hardware thing that is part of the vehicle itself?
Sure, you can add FSD to your Cybertruck at any time, but it will be done at the then-current price. When you buy FSD now, for $8K, that price is based upon FSD being supervised. But you don't have to pay more as it gains more capabilities, including when it's able to drive unsupervised. At that point, it will probably cost $30K or more. Can non-fs not permanently buy FSD? If one does the FSD purchase, what happens if your CT is totaled?Sure, you can add FSD to your Cybertruck at any time, but it will be done at the then-current price. It's a software license tied to the vehicle, and it includes free upgrades for the life of the vehicle.
FSD goes with it.If one does the FSD purchase, what happens if your CT is totaled?
I suspect your SOL. I believe that’s what folks who’ve had OG model S’s say happened to them. I think your FSD is RIP’d.If one does the FSD purchase, what happens if your CT is totaled?
