Why not just rewrap. Small piece, not much money.I had the exact same reaction. I wonder if it's possible to secure the panel while leaving the wrap on. Might be wishful thinking.
If that's my only choice, sure. But super inconvenient and still some money. Wasn't cheap to wrap in the first place.W

You could be right. I wasn't expecting CT sales to fall from 4Q 2024 to 1Q 2025, because the introduction of the federal tax credit was effectively a $7,500 price discount. But as a counterargument, CT sales apparently fell from 3Q 2024 to 4Q 2024, despite the introduction of the non-Foundation Series, which was a $20,000 price discount.I think demand has fallen off a cliff. It's in Model S/X territory now and probably going to be even lower demand than that.
Maybe it's just a coincidence, but you know what rugged $75,000+ BEV has suddenly jumped in popularity? The Rivian R1S. The R1S reportedly became one of top five best-selling BEVs in the US in February 2025. The similarly-priced CT, MX, and MS did not make the top five.I think demand has fallen off a cliff. It's in Model S/X territory now and probably going to be even lower demand than that.
Not normal, the glue on the inner structure is failingMien does this too is that not normal? Lol
Once PPF cures, removing it destroys the glue layer. You can't take off and reinstall PPF. You just need new PPF.I wonder if we can remove the wrap and rewrap it to the new part. Seems like an easy job if the PPF can come off easily.
Here I was this whole time thinking “man they could of done a better job oh wellNot normal, the glue on the inner structure is failing
I would try calling different SC. I took delivery end of January and got the lightbar installed yesterday.Which panel is allegedly affected? Being that we still have not received our light bar after a July delivery I find it difficult to believe that any recall would be quickly implemented.
And yes, this would have devastating effects for all of us who have wrapped our trucks.
