I had the exact same reaction. I wonder if it's possible to secure the panel while leaving the wrap on. Might be wishful thinking.
Why not just rewrap. Small piece, not much money.

I think demand has fallen off a cliff. It's in Model S/X territory now and probably going to be even lower demand than that.
You could be right. I wasn't expecting CT sales to fall from 4Q 2024 to 1Q 2025, because the introduction of the federal tax credit was effectively a $7,500 price discount. But as a counterargument, CT sales apparently fell from 3Q 2024 to 4Q 2024, despite the introduction of the non-Foundation Series, which was a $20,000 price discount.

Maybe it's just a coincidence, but you know what rugged $75,000+ BEV has suddenly jumped in popularity? The Rivian R1S. The R1S reportedly became one of top five best-selling BEVs in the US in February 2025. The similarly-priced CT, MX, and MS did not make the top five.

Cybertruck sales were reportedly down by 32.5% from January. Rivian sales were up by 34.0%.

Overall, February 2025 Tesla sales were down by 10.0% from January. The Model Y and Model 3 remained #1 and #2 in BEV sales, but sales were down by 3.1% and 17.5% respectively.

I'm glad I dumped my Cybertruck before Musk went totally whacko so that I loss relatively little. But seriously who would have thought that exposed stainless steel panels with adhesive only and without sufficient back up fastening would eventually fail. Certainly not a durable design from the get go. Probable a result of Musk again overriding competent engineers. Tesla needs to dump him.

Mine was supposed to be delivered to me today, got delayed until 3/29. Interesting though, it doesn't show up on the NTSA or TESLA VIN search. Born on 2/25, so it's in the window. Wonder if that means it was fixed OR it only brings back delivered vehicles.

I wonder if we can remove the wrap and rewrap it to the new part. Seems like an easy job if the PPF can come off easily.
Once PPF cures, removing it destroys the glue layer. You can't take off and reinstall PPF. You just need new PPF.

At least 5 friends reached out to me today asking whether I’m a victim of this poor design! We poor Cybertruck owners are victims of so many things - first FS, then skippers, then non FS price drops, then the Politics, and Elon’s hate, recalls, middle fingers, and of course butt swipes. We poor owners. Here’s to the brothers and sisters of CT victimhood! ?

nah! We are the heroes of the badass truck. Long live Cybertruck! ?

Which panel is allegedly affected? Being that we still have not received our light bar after a July delivery I find it difficult to believe that any recall would be quickly implemented.

And yes, this would have devastating effects for all of us who have wrapped our trucks.
I would try calling different SC. I took delivery end of January and got the lightbar installed yesterday.
