Hi,
Just wanted to ask if anyone knows of a good quality CCS to NACS adapter that will fit in the cybertruck, as I know that both the Tesla official and Dewalt adapters don't fit.

Do you currently/regularly use CCS? I bought one back when they first came out for my other teslas and literally used it once.

I know. With the rapid growth of Supercharger locations, and the reliability and ease of use, I'm wondering who would want to deal with charging apps, accounts for each network, passwords, payment systems, physical adapters, broken chargers, etc.

I think this is what I like most about road-tripping in a Tesla, full access to all Superchargers (and the fact that they are all displayed on the center display). Just plug in and walk away.

I am planning on taking a road trip, and it looks like along with superchargers there are many Electrify America stations, most of which utilize CCS1. Just want to have as many options open as possible and am okay carrying extra adapters.

That’s fair - and the exact reason I ordered mine.

And literally never used it on the roadtrip - used it 5 minutes from my house to make sure it worked.

I bought the A2Z adaptor. It's built like a tank (all metal construction): https://a2zevshop.com/products/ccs-...4bVaj0r8ov_P8uyvFIu2kXLtiawVaNvSNI2V9mv59mc06
I have the A2Z for cybertruck and it works well just a very tight fit on the ccs plug and difficult to remove but hopefully that loosens with usage. The housing is a rugged plastic like all the adapters I’ve handled not metal. It’s currently the most reputable cybertruck specific CCS adapter available until Tesla itself were to make one (super low priority they can’t even update software to make their CHAdeMO adapter work)
Another option is to use any of the CCS adapters with the EVject device used as an extension piece as it’s NACS to NACS but I just checked their website and it’s still pre-order with early 2025 release date as I suspected would happen back after Tesla sued them for not having thermal protection. We are almost done with Q1 and they keep pushing off delivery.

I bought the Hansshow CCS1 to NACS for Cybertruck for my trip to Alaska coming up. Beyond Prince George, BC Canada. there are no Superchargers until Anchorage, AK. BC Hydro and Flo CCS chargers will be my go-to DCFC en route so an adapter is a must have. I haven't tested the Hansshow adapter yet, so I can't give a recommendation. Has anyone used it?

I bought the Teslaunch one and it didn't work when I needed it most, small town middle of nowhere. Lucky they had a level 2 beside it so I plugged in and went to sleep, woke up and continued my journey. After a lot of back and forth they finally refunded me. I was able to get it to start working by permanently gluing a safety switch into the on position, but the whole ordeal was frustrating.

I need it as I know of at least TWO free superchargers and they are both CCS;-) Even if I just use those stations a half dozen times the adapter will of paid for itself:)

Have the Tesla one for the Model X. It has saved us on some longer stretches without Superchargers. Not often but once would be enough.

Picked up this for the Cybertruck:

That was probably a much bigger thing when you bought your Model X. The constantly increasing Supercharger locations means it's increasingly less of a thing. I would need a very compelling reason to get a DC charging adapter and actually use it, especially since third-party networks will be rolling out DCFCers with NACS connectors this year or early next year. Any CCS to NACS adapter is going to become increasingly worthless, perhaps without ever being used.

I didn't even want a DCFC adapter for CCS when I started road-tripping in an EV 8 years ago, a time when the number of Superchargers was but a small fraction of what's available now.

At the beginning of 2018 there were approximately 2,922 Supercharger connectors in North America. At the beginning of this year there were over 26,000, nine times as many, and the network continues to grow and buildout every single month. All the third party CCS DCFC combined only amount to 40% of all DCFCers while Superchargers make up 60%.
