What about the vehicle making a very loud sound when people touch it ? Ear piercing noice can scare away intruders. Would this be classified as a ‘booby trap’?

that would be awesome but will it activate when someone just walks by or does it have to be an impact to the truck? Someone had a STEP AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE sound when locking, I think from robo cop? that could work.

That's what the default lock sound resembles (to me). Does yours actually say, "We are the borg, you will be assimilated"?

I love the default lock sound because people often can't tell where it's coming from or what it is. And it's not at all anoying like the traditional "chirp-chirp" sound most cars have made since remote key fobs were a thing.

Yes, it is the phrase. I have several borg phrases I used to use for notifications on my computer years ago.
If you want them I can zip them and find somewhere online to upload them. They are all .wav files
