The aerodynamics of the Aptera are specifically designed for reducing drag while in ground effect. It has very little in common with aircraft body designs. Aircraft bodies rarely give much if any lift either.

It is built the same as a small aircraft. It is designed to reduce drag… much like a small aircraft. They are made of composites very similar to a small aircraft. Last I checked, dolphins are made of meat.

They are much closer to an aircraft than pretty much any other known object.

Tho you could build it to have body lift, most planes don't. That's for the wings and aero surfaces that you control tightly for performance.
