Overall a good sounding vehicle that is far better than Model Ys I have been in. It needs more tuning though and may come in future updates. Definitely capable. Too bass heavy now IMHO. Immersion is ok...ish but a lot better than model Ys. Instruments still don't pop out as much. Not sure if it is just me but I feel certain sections of mid range and sound stage can be improved for better experience.

What are your eq settings and what are your reference tracks?

There are other things that are kind of a let down in the audio area.
- Crappy audio streaming ups which seem to have their own mind.
- Bad interface for USB audio. Basically a file browser
- No support for high resolution audio Bluetooth codecs like LDAC, FLAC, ALAC, AptX HD etc.
- Limited 5 band EQ.

These are just my observations, please feel free to differ.

I feel like there’s some kind equal loudness processing going on where bass is increased when volume is low to compensate for the fletcher munson curve. I love it. Some may not and may think the system has too much bass.

Music is so subjective. That’s why we have access to EQ curve. I leave mine flat and it’s perfect for me. Equal Loudness processing adjustment may be nice. For those that think there’s too much bass, maybe turn down the bass?

I would love:
- lossless audio formats for stream info services
- lossless+Spatial Audio for Apple Music.
- for them to fix the usability of the streaming apps. Clicking artist name should always show songs and albums from the artist. Clicking album should always show the album. Etc. it’s maddening why it’s not as intuitive as literally every other music streaming interface.
- eq settings should still stay with user account but be specific to model (and probably year/revision) of car. If I get in a loaner 3 which has less bass, and adjust it, I don’t want it boosted when I get back to my CT.

Just use tidal for lossless.
I love Tidal and use it as my only music option in my Cybertruck. I also love Tidal's business model as it gives back to the artist more than any other music streaming service.

I've not tried, but do you know if while using Apple Music you can play an identified Atmos/spatial track if anything is noticeable ?

It's pretty good but nothing compared to my Lucid. The Lucid has 21 speakers with Dolby Atmos. Atmos changes the game.

Agreed. Only gripe is 3/4 volume and up causes door rattles and upper roof trim rattles.

I’m uneducated about tidal. Anyone want to share the pitch?

Apparently there is a company selling a speaker “upgrade” for the truck already.
car audio in general isn’t great in my opinion but this is no jokes the best I have heard.

I've tried with both the app on the screen, and playback from my iPhone and nada.

I've gone back to YouTube Music via YT premium.

The hardware is there but I bet it's a licensing issue for Tesla. If they won't license the 360 cam they're probably not gonna license Atmos.
