A dose of cold hard reality: You have an old used Cybertruck in relation to today’s current production. As with all first-production vehicles, Tesla was still figuring out how to make these things, get stuff aligned, etc. You probably have the original motors that are now being replaced. Tesla has upgraded the mortors and drive by wire steering mechanism. It has improved the steel glue and is going to have to repair/replace parts on all of our trucks, likely extending to way more than the current cantrails issue.
Above, it's mentioned that Tesla upgraded the motors, drive-by-wire mechanism, etc. Just curious, are these updates officially released by Tesla? Wondering where these revisions are captured, as I'd like to see what other changes or updates Tesla has made.

I had to do it, as much as I love my Cyberbeast
Need the cash we got bigger fish to catch this time
I got $109,000 for it not bad right?
If you think I'm making a mistake, tell me why?
I can still back out for 1 more day
With all the commotion and bad news about Tesla lately... due to Musk's doge, I'm surprised you're able to sell it at that price. You are lucky in my opinion. Take the money and RUN. Good luck.

He didn't. Read the thread. The buyer was either trying to fraud him or just dumb.

Take it and run. Hard to believe you got 109k, however, because you can buy a new non-foundation cyber beast for 100 K. But there is a sucker born every day so as I said, take it and run.
The Foundation Series perhaps? ??

Sounds about right. I was quoted $81K trade in from Rivian. FS Beast:

watch the latest CT Youtube videos by Out of Spec - they walk through all the motor changes and suspension issues. They have had so many issues with their early CT that Tesla has offered to repurchase (not a lemon law deal, but acknowledging the issues). There are many other youtube videos showing buybacks and issues - one guy has had EVERY stainless panel replaced except his tailgate - and that's next.

Didn't I say make sure that check clears in the first page? 109k is too good to be true. And reading OPs post is making my head hurt or dumber. Every post is like written like an unintentional poem or haiku.

Yeah I vacillate between blocking or just sitting back and getting some popcorn for the latest stupid thread of the day.

Yes you said that maybe. Who cares what you said? Because that's what I did anyway when I had him meet me at my bank. So I jumped the gun in saying it was sold. But I wasn't lying for all intensive purposes it was sold. And you can't make sure the check clears without the check can you, so I had to wait for the check and find out. You know some of you guys think you know everything. And have to comment on everything. You guys know who you are you meticulously dissect every post and twist plot to suit your agenda Quit it you don't control the site your more like the poop patrol. And your Making the site unattractive.

Well the Guy could not finish the payment process online.
After giving him a few days to do so and several phone calls with me back and fourth.
For some reason he was not able to compleate the payment process online.
He said he could give me a cashiers check and agreed to meet me at my bank and wait for me to cash it.
I gave him the Google map to my bank
Then he tried to come after the bank is close by telling me he's got his business open, and they close at 4:30
I told him that wont work for me.
It was around 1:30 he said ok ill close early and meet you at 2pm
He got lost went way past my bank didn't make it till 3pm
Good thing my bank closes at 5pm
He gives me the check in an envelope
He hasn't even seen the truck yet.
So I tell him don't you want to see the truck first?
He didn't even notice when I drove past him that I was there. I had to call him more than once on his phone then I walked around to the front to find him.
He was like whatever let's go see it.
And he didn't know about the bad scratch on my front bumper.
But he didn't care didn't even try and negotiate he was like whatever with it.
So I look at the check and the amount was $110,090 so I show him why this amount?
He said oh I added the extra $100 that we agreed for canceling the online transaction
I was thinking is he dumb or what the price was $108,990 he added $100 to it and came out with
$110,090 so I said ok. Got in line gave it to the teller he told me it will take a few days to clear
Since its from a different bank. I said ok go ahead and ill tell the buyer hell have to wait for the check to clear then ill give him the keys after. So I'm about to endorse the check and he says hold on let me see the check he takes another look at it ....unfourtunetly we cant accept the check its not in your name the guy got my first name wrong instead of Armando he wrote it to Alejandro.
So no sale yet.
Should I give him another chance tomorrow?
What is the payment process online you mentioned? Curious because you said you were waiting for a cashiers check which is physical.

Please tell me no physical accommodations were performed by the seller on the buyer to make the transaction go through.

I sold my $146k P85D for $29k to a private buyer. It was two years old. If you need to sell, don’t try to catch a falling knife. These trucks WILL be selling used for $30k or even less within two years from now. The exact same thing occurred with Model X and S versions that had sold for far more than any CT. Whatever you can get today, it WILL be less in a month and FAR less in 12 months. Again, cold hard reality. The value confirmation recommendations you see are real - you can have legitimate purchase offers on kbb.com or carmax.com in five minutes to verify what I say above.
Wow! You're not very smart.
