Tesla App phone battery drain??

The last few days, my battery has been tanking a lot faster than normal. I looked at what apps are causing it and since the 28th, Tesla app has been going crazy. Anyone else?

Last 4 days, it has accounted for most of the daily battery usage percentage by far.

25th, 26th, 27th - 2, 4, 1%
28th - 28%
29th - 19%
30th - 32%
Today - 51%!!!

The app requests that it stay live at all times. I do find it kills battery.

Wow- yeah. Tesla app is 23% of battery draw on iPhone 16. Never knew.

Less than 1 minute on screen, not viewing sentry at all. Galaxy s22 Ultra.

Same here. iPhone 15 Pro Max - Tesla app contributes to 17% of battery drain, I just keep it open in the background most of the time and occasionally open it to pre-cool the CT.

Wow. Have to wonder what's causing that. Just checked on mine (which admittedly spends a lot of time plugged in), 2%, less than the Cybertruck Owner's Club app. Old iPhone 12 Pro Max. (big enough that the battery is big too) Latest version of iOS and of app.

I don't have Sentry mode running @ home, get a few notifications but not many, etc. App remains running in background so that phone key and other conveniences work. The app is allowed access to everything it wants including location access always.

Could try delete and re-add app, although that probably means setting up various things again; if anything it caches or private data is corrupt, that may or may not help.

Have same phone. My app was slow and I cleared the cache which seems to have helped.
Currently using battery at ~1% per hour

Do you have sentry mode on when you are home or do you "exclude home" in sentry mode?
Also double checking that the app is closed on your phone not just tabbed out of in the background may impact batter usage quite a bit.

Mine is 1% drain with 4 min screen time and 15 hours 27 minutes background on Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

Yeah I have had "exclude home" on for several months. This also persisted after a full reset of my phone.

Same battery usage jump here on the 27th, aligns with truck software update.
I've turned off UWB to see if that does anything.
