Wondering if anyone has thought about finding a way to replace and illuminate the tonneau and tailgate buttons on the CT. We find ourselves having to open and close it in the dark fairly often and the only thing we can think of, is either luminous paint pens or stickers. Would love for one of the companies to create a replaceable module for the entire area but don't know enough about the power in the area to understand if it's possible.
Thanks for any ideas and thoughts.

Ummm, the buttons don't move around, they are right at the end of the left bedsides. They are very tactile too. I've never had a problem, even on the blackest night.

But if you pimp it out, please include photos at night.

Something that should have come from the factory TBH, especially with the power already back there.
Think a glow in the dark paint that is charged with natural light might be a simple solution.

Um, they are literally braille. This is not an issue and more than lighting the door handles, which would actually be more logical, as in the Model S pop-out handles with lights.

Like most things for the CT, it’s most definitely not an issue. Just something of personal preference that we were wondering about, given our personal experience but again, like most accessories, not an issue at all.

I do a lot of overlanding and ran into a few convenience issues—nothing critical, just the kind of stuff that slows you down or adds hassle. I picked up these little LED puck lights, and I’m obsessed. They're about an inch in diameter, last for hours, and have a simple on/off button. No wiring, no charging—just stick it, click it, and you're good.

The best part? When the battery dies, toss it and grab a fresh one. Total game-changer for quick-access lighting around the truck

Success! Had to have the wife cut them out as outside of my skillet! Haha. Extremely bright after being in the sun for just minutes. Seems to last several hours and will follow up after we have them on for a few days.

Alright. Now ask her to do it several hundred more times and put ‘em on Etsy for 20 bucks a pop.
Seriously though. Looks awesome. Going to order some of that tape.

Now that’s funny! To be fair, probably not a bad idea. ?. Need to see how the adhesive holds up as it’s such a small footprint.
