So, I am having wind/vibration coming from driver side door of my CT once it over 70+ mph. Whole door vibrates. I have already made a service appt. Anyone having same issue? Is there an easy fix?
Same here. Vibrates like a large subwoofer at 70 plus, especially if there is additional head winds/gusts.
Definitely a design flaw IMO. My serial number is in the 41xxx. Early October 2024 build. Just bought it mid March 25 from inventory.
Setting up service for this and will update.
High Point NC Service Center. So far a good experience with them.

Same issue here. Took to SC and said wind vibration is normal. Planning on revisiting a different sc

During a windy day while traveling at 50 plus, I hear wind noise. I think my door striker need adjustment, as I can see my door(s) stick out a few MM.. Anyone know what size head I need? I think it is torx.

I had the same thing on my original 9000Vin Cyber and my New 53,000 VIN. I am going to remove the side mirrors and see if it helps. I will report back.

I get this any time there is observable wind; crosswind or ? With no wind, I'm pretty quiet. I assume the air is being routed (blown) into the panel gap and causes the vibration effect. In my case I'm not sure doing any adjustment would make a significant difference.

FYI. It is a #40 torx. That didn't work, there is no adjustment left, that I can see.

I had a vibration/noise coming from the passenger side as well. I couldn’t figure out what it was until I saw that the bolt on the driver side Cantrail was loose. The Cantrail was sticking out of alignment and likely producing wind noise. I tightened it and it did the trick no more noise.

This is what I had done to correct the vibration felt with my knee against the door panel.. Didn’t eliminate vibration but definitely reduced it. I’m not sure what the replacement door assembly consisted of maybe it’s got dampening foam or something.

Wait, they fixed yours? I just assumed this was what I had to put up with? Opening a ticket now!

I

Took my truck in 4 times to get this resolved in NJ.
first visit they said issue didn’t exist.
second visit they changed the inner panel
Third visit they changed the outer steel panel
Fourth visit they changed the complete door and replaced it with a new one with tightening the seals around the door.
doesn’t vibrate too much anymore but before it was wayyy too much.
I had the exact same experience and work done at eatontown location. It was good for a while but has started again.

I have an air leak noise coming from the front driver window - sounds like the air leak is on the inside of the window. Almost seems like air is leaking from the outside of the door through some gap and coming up through the window on the inside. I suspect this because the sound is more pronounced near the bottom of the window (where the window comes up from the inside of the door vs the top of the window [just under the cantrail])

Any update on your experiment? I've always suspected the driver side mirror to be the culprit. Didn't Tesla, on the refreshed model Y, put a little fin on the mirror for better airflow?

No I havent taken them off yet...I have to back into my garage to park the truck and the mirrors are still too valuable to me to remove them.

I havent noticed the vibration (I will check next time I drive) but I have removed my mirrors. I assure you there is no loss of visibility. With the recent change to the adjustable zoom level of the rear camera there are 0 blind spots. I can see the same car in the rear camera (at 0.5 zoom) and my peripheral vision at the same time. Just check both the camera and over your shoulder when merging and its no problem. Same deal with backing up into parking spots, its easy.
