Hey guys, the truck is mine. A couple observations:
- the holes don’t really take away much visibility from seeing out the back when using the mirror (vault cover open)
- it’s about $100 at a local auto glass place. It’s installed like a normal window. Takes about an hour to install.
- don’t think a slider would work. The slider would allow to much noise. Believe me, riding around without the window in is loud ? The Breezer has a thick seal which makes it as quiet as the normal window was.
- initial thoughts - I give it a ?. Can’t wait to use it truck camping.
Can you explain how the experience is driving without the window in?
How much louder does it get in the cabin?
How well does temperature regulation work in the cabin?

I am thinking about having the window open while driving because we are putting the dogs in the truck bed (using cargo dividers and other things to secure them of course.)

I would say it’s about 50% louder. You really hear the rear motor whine and the outside noise. On my drive I’ll take the window out and see how it does.
So I was waiting awhile for the pipe that goes from the vent to the Breezer insert. I found out it’s not needed. You really get some good airflow from the cabin through the insert into the vault. I think in a couple weeks I’ll finally get to check it out camping.

Ooh. Good question.
We use an Ecoflow wave 2 for that and AC. Works amazing.
Diesel heater might be even better if you’re camping in climates my wife and I wouldn’t even consider?

Hmmm.
Can you have a normal conversation in the cab while driving with the Breezer window open?
I'm trying to imagine a 50% louder cabin. lol
is it like having the rear seats down for a model 3 or y?

I was so excited about the Breezer solution initially and then kind of drifted away after they didn’t really have it ready to go I spoke with them directly. Maybe, I’m ready to revisit.

I just have angst about taking that window out. Did you do it yourself or did you have a shop do it what’s the scoop. Also, what did you pay if you used to shop?

Lastly how good is the airflow? I’m not in any nice coastal beach area I’m in the middle of the damn desert and it’s gonna have to work hard to make it comfortable under that tonneau.

They should have just gone with a slider window instead of having to remove the back window every time from the mesh. Seems like a hassle to remove every time it’s needed, not to mention storing the window without having to worry about breaking it.

Yea, pretty sure this will be the case if they want to sell more than a handful of these.

Probably a little harder to get a good air tight seal with a slider window I imagine.
