Can you explain how the experience is driving without the window in?Hey guys, the truck is mine. A couple observations:
- the holes don’t really take away much visibility from seeing out the back when using the mirror (vault cover open)
- it’s about $100 at a local auto glass place. It’s installed like a normal window. Takes about an hour to install.
- don’t think a slider would work. The slider would allow to much noise. Believe me, riding around without the window in is loud ? The Breezer has a thick seal which makes it as quiet as the normal window was.
- initial thoughts - I give it a ?. Can’t wait to use it truck camping.
I would say it’s about 50% louder. You really hear the rear motor whine and the outside noise. On my drive I’ll take the window out and see how it does. Can you explain how the experience is driving without the window in?
How much louder does it get in the cabin?
How well does temperature regulation work in the cabin?
I am thinking about having the window open while driving because we are putting the dogs in the truck bed (using cargo dividers and other things to secure them of course.)
Heat into the cybertent?I would say it’s about 50% louder. You really hear the rear motor whine and the outside noise. On my drive I’ll take the window out and see how it does.
So I was waiting awhile for the pipe that goes from the vent to the Breezer insert. I found out it’s not needed. You really get some good airflow from the cabin through the insert into the vault. I think in a couple weeks I’ll finally get to check it out camping.
Ooh. Good question.Heat into the cybertent?

Yea, pretty sure this will be the case if they want to sell more than a handful of these. They should have just gone with a slider window instead of having to remove the back window every time from the mesh. Seems like a hassle to remove every time it’s needed, not to mention storing the window without having to worry about breaking it.
I have a Breezer in a different truck. I take it out a couple of times a month for work purposes. It is quick and simple to remove/replace. I am a fan.For those wishing to have a way to push their A/C or Heat into the Vault area either for pets, camping, or to keep items (somewhat) refrigerated.
