It is wild that the cheapest version has the most range.
I’m assuming the pack is the same, but efficiency is higher due to the single motor and reduced weight.

Now the next group of buyers are up those who want the look without all the jazz to flex... decent range though.

I'm interested in dual at 65-70k..

we need sales keep going down to achieve that price and it will likely be a flash sell.. all would take a 10k discount to pump numbers.

waiting patiently.. 60k version is a bad value.

I don’t see it happening or else they won’t get sales on the red single motor only.

if they decrease value of awd the the rwd will take a huge hit.

Not true. They did one in Mexico just not in our market.
The humble, inexpensive Mexican Model 3 RWD, which was widely ignored by the Tesla community when it was introduced last year, is now starting to look like a pioneering model, leading the way for cheaper stripped-down Teslas worldwide.

- Cloth seats
- No heated or ventilated seats
- No heated steering wheel
- Downgraded sound system
- No rear screen
- White-only ambient lighting
- Front-only acoustic glass

Now we have a stripped-down, less expensive Cybertruck RWD. Does anyone think that we might see a stripped-down, less expensive Model Y RWD this year too?

I love my truck even at the 100k I paid. I do wish it had the longer range like the top models were supposed to have. I like the gear locker it comes in handy and I use the L track with the divider almost every day. I am constantly moving it to adjust to the cargo I am carrying in the bed. I can’t imagine not having the motorized bed cover. It offers an extra layer of security for items in the bed. Not sure the soft tonneau will give that same security feeling.

Do you know how much I would have to pay to have staff do that for me every time I wanted to open or close the bed!? Automated is better. Pass!
