I haven’t seen another CT since I acquired mine March 30. Prior to that, twas every day. So maybe it’s already happening.
same thing was happening here for a few weeks. I wonder if some were hiding out. In the last few days I saw 2.

I don't enjoy the craziness, since I don't like people honking at me, or giving me the you're #1 sign. Annoying.

As for exclusivity, everyone likes that. I bought my 2018 Model 3, in December of that year, and the light silver metallic was almost immediately discontinued right after, so, if I see any light silver Model 3 I know they are 2018s.

If no one wants to buy a Cybertruck, that's fine. I've got mine, and I'll be happy to keep it for 20yrs, as my adventure ski truck. It's been great for all of 2wks that I've owned it.
I got my 2018 metallic silver model 3 on April of 2018. I bought it with money I made and continued to make in Tesla stock. I started buying in 2016 with the dream of FSD. Sadly it got totaled while stopped at a red light over 2 years ago. I still remember how excited I was picking the car up from the showroom in Nashville. It had my name on the car and I thought the most beautiful car ever. The drive back to Huntsville was tremendous. It was my first new car for myself.

We are exclusive and more knowledgeable than all Truck owners, hell car owners in General. This is the reason we have a CT and they don’t. They are stuck with their horse and carriage Trucks while we push forward towards the future! Our interior alone puts everyone to shame!
I have had Chevy silverados, and recently, a Tahoe 2020 premier. Love them but, dealership made me switch. I do enjoy a lot the CT and it is the best car/truck I have had. I haul crap for recycle, and lately, and most importantly, compete with my kids playing games while we are parked in the garage. That’s quality time. Best car so far.

I see your reasoning, but I really, really hope Cybertrucks don't cease production. That would be absolutely devastating for me.
Agree. It’s a great vehicle and I hope Tesla keeps producing them for a long time…and I hope it sells better because that will help guarantee they’ll keep making them.

With the current anti-Elon movement, I always try to avoid driving my CT to NYC and other deep blue places.

Maybe you haven’t see anymore is because they are afraid to drive them. Luckily I have another Tesla to drive and my CT is staying in the garage until some of the craziness goes away. Hopefully, that will be soon.

As interesting as this, I wouldn’t want that for the CyberTruck and Tesla. I want Tesla to sell as much as they can. As exclusivity as I want my CB to be, if Tesla would cancel it I would most likely get rid of it and take a huge loss on it as well (on top of how much its already lost). However, in my opinion, Tesla did some bad moves. First, they kept the foundation series going on for too long. Instead of doing it for a whole year, they should’ve done it for only three months or less. It looks like they learned with the new Model Y. Second, from top trim to the base, they should’ve differentiated them more. The Beast and AWD are pretty much the same. Minus the extra motor and suede dashboard. And then the base is stripped down to the bare bone. Customers are not going to take this. They should’ve tapered it down. With the sales down, that’s mainly because of several factors. Tesla has exhausted the true fan base. Second, there’s only so many people that want trucks. Third, more competition. Fourth, politics and I’m talking about the vandalism. Let’s be honest, the left aren’t really the truck driving or buying type. Fifth, number of recalls. Last, the price. Even though trucks range between $40K to $50K, CTs even the base ones is above that. Truck owners are frugal buyers. Whatever the case, I love my CB and plan to keep it. I still don’t see a good competition against it. Yeah yeah GM EVs have battery range but that’s solely because they have a huge battery and that’s it. Most people would not use that amount ever unless they are towing and on average only 30% of truck owners would do that. Honestly speaking for the people who do tow should opt to stick with ICE trucks.

Shame your beautiful car was destroyed, but glad you got a CT.

Back then, my Model 3 was home delivered in Maine by 3rd party, so it was quite weird, as there was no Tesla person to talk to. You got your keycards, you signed a paper, and that was it. Unless, you didn't want to take delivery due to something.

Mine was dirty, and the battery was at 0% SOC! It had never been looked at since Fremont.

Since I live on a dirt road, the semi could not meet me at my house, but at a rest stop. Little did I know it had no charge, nor did the rest stop have any superchargers! I pushed the car back on to the semi to take it to another rest stop.

As you can see, my new car was completely empty.

A lot of people would have refused delivery, but I didn't. The battery has been great! 6yrs+, 78k miles later, and my battery deg is only 4%.

I have only seen one other in my town since I have had mine 11/24. Maybe everyone is keeping them in the garage and away from the Key Crazies LOL.

Wow, interesting delivery!! Yeah I got spoiled on my model 3 delivery. Waxed and absolutely clean. My next 2 delivery (Model S, Cybertruck) was not good at all but still accepted.

I’m heading out on a long road trip tomorrow in the truck. I’m concerned about potential wackos for sure.

While the exclusivity of the CT would be cool if they stopped production, which they won’t—that’s nonsense, there would be less third party add-ons which would suck. Already some things are lacking. I wish someone would sell a nice bed extender for example.

I have thought about taking my other cars when I go into the liberal city of Austin from out in the country. Won't take the LC500 convertible, but at times the F150. But then again, take my CT also and some defense.
