Crazy you can only lease a Tesla in the states where all the majority of vandalisms is currently happening.

So sad for the six or seven states that don’t have this opportunity for lease.

This is a decent drop, I ended up with a late model 2024 for $932/month all in with $0 down but that includes leftover discount and referral credit

oh and I did 12,000 miles per year

was planning on buying out right away but now might leave as a lease to hedge

I didn't think you could lease with a private lender. are you sure about the 7.99%? I believe my lease had a money factor that equated to around 6.5% or so

Okay, $35,300 for 3yrs, and then you get to decide if you want to buy it for $56k, or $91k total, but more if you finance the buyout in 3yrs.

It's a better offer than the single-motor lease.

I got the end-of-quarter promo rate, so my 60month loan totals out to $77,310 including the down pmt. I already know I'm going to drive it for the next 15yrs, so it makes sense to buy at the low rate.

Okay, for those who want to know what the Lease rate or money factor is, I did the math.

The depreciation from $75k to $56k divided by 36pmts is $528/mo, that leaves $271/mo as the finance part.

For leasing, you divide the MSRP+RV into the finance number to get your money factor or lease rate, and that's 0.0002. Multiply by 2400 and you get 4.8%.

my lease quote had a money factor of .00333 not sure how that is calculated .. he really didn't plug in too much info besides address ..etc.. I think this sheet is just a "payment esimator" so I guess technically the numbers could change

I took a lease once, but only because my primary vehicle died, and I wasn’t ready to commit to a purchase.

I eventually bought a Cybertruck lol

I think your math is off with this……should be $28,764(799*36) + $5000 =$33,764 not $35,300

ends up at $89,764 total

I used the "Due at Signing" figure, not the $5000. It's $1500 more. But, I looked into it, and it includes the first month $799, so take that out.

Not that it makes a heck of a lot of difference in the grand scheme of things. It's a little over $90k, either way, and if you finance at 36months, it can be a bit more.
Tesla Cybertruck Lease an AWD Cybertruck for $799/mo with $5k down 1745459300063-8u

so which is it?
Well, my calculation shows the math; and the Money Factor for the $799 offer is 0.0002. That's a 4.8% rate. I didn't read what the other person's 7.99% offer was about. Must have been due to his credit rating category.
