Was cleaning out the truck bed and noticed it was getting discolored - almost as if from sun damage. I live in a small mountain town in the South (lots of trees) and when not using the bed, keep the Tonneau cover closed. Was hosing our all the pollen with a home pressure washer and couldn't get rid of this white discoloration - anyone else had this?

I’m getting a little bit of this white stains too. I wonder what’s causing it…seems to be from water dripping into the vault/bed and causing some grease from the tonneau track to mix with the water?

yeah, there's loads of threads about it, the most recent: https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...ly-faded-truck-bed.40677/page-2#post-30562878

Some people have had some luck with plastic treatments, but it's an odd material, and absorbs a lot of whatever is sprayed on it. It's what drove us to develop a full-coverage solution for the vault.
Do you have any videos of heavy or rough items before and after? I find the stock bed to be very slippery and toolboxes and other items must be tied down? What would carrying a load of gravel do to the covering in both scratch and adhesive holding up to the weight and dust (concerned about dust loosening up edges)?

I had a spray on polyurethane finish in my old truck that was not slippery at all and was great for my use.

My truck is back in service (was due back on Wednesday, but we all know how that goes...!), otherwise I'd take a photo. I'd say that the Armor is no more or less slippy than the stock bed, so I don't think it would solve your problems there. Some of the spray-on coatings are much coarser/grittier, so are quite grippy, although there's been other reports of those spray-on coatings not adhering well on the CT bed (generally they're designed for metal or painted surfaces).

The stuff we carry is mostly fairly 'clean'; lots of stuff from uLine (packaging), pool salt and other bagged stuff from Home Depot, a bit of lumber, so I can't talk to lugging sand or something like that, but dust in general hasn't been an issue, the road outside our house is currently dirt (the city has been working on it for a few weeks, but the storms keeping making then have to start over) so there's loads of dust in the air and when we're driving on it. It's a PITA as I have to clean up before taking product photos, but no issues with edges lifting at all. I did gouge one of the raised sections with an exposed half-staple hanging out of some lumber, but it was a 2 minute replacement, and we'll always send spare parts if needed for similar reasons, just send a pic.

As an aside, we'll be picking up a few yard of mulch as soon as I get it back, but I'll still put something in the bottom of the bed (a tarp), there's too many gaps that'll fill up with gunk.

This is the best before/after I have, but the lighting doesn't really do it justice.

Yes xpel makes great products(I used it on fenders / top applique of truck bed) but not sure how it would hold up inside a truck bed that gets heavily used. Does seem like an odd material for truck beds if it can't stand minor exposure to elements....

hey Pete - do you sell the sides only? Worried my bed would get scuffed up if I'm using it as a truck (not so much the sides)
