Tonneau and Tailgate PIN Lock? @Elonmusk

Just wondering if they have a frunk & glove box lock, then why did the not set up and option to lock the rear storage whether its through valet mode or at least a PIN lock. This is a secure area and I would like to be able to not worry about it when I put my valuables in it.

I tried the Valet Mode, it disables the rear from the screen, but you can still walk to the rear and use to controls to open both the tonneau and gate. Seems likeTesla almost got it right. Is there a way to request this mod or mistake?

That's a great suggestion and it is so easy to implement that there must be another reason why it wasn't done in the first place... Obviously the emergency interior button must be active at all times but still, it's probably related to a security risk or risk evaluation.

I too, would love to have that feature.

The tail gate has a pull cord. I could see maybe the power outlets turn off, but I would be fine with that.

Do you use your phone to unlock? It might just be opening because you have your phone on you and the truck is unlocked. Try it without your phone near the truck after you put it in valet mode.
