Service center just installed my light bar. My wife took it down to the service center for me since I was working and she had an appointment nearby the service center. When she got it home, connecting the lights in the B-pillar and setting it up was a breeze. When I removed the black tape over the lights, I noticed that the light bar was misaligned with my windshield on the driver side. Super frustrating since the service center is three hours away from my house.
What would you all do just let it be or make them fix it next time I go down there? Is this even a simple fix?

I would definitely have them redo it. Sucks you’re so far from the SC, though.

Mine was aligned properly, but started to come off the glass, on both sides, so I had to bring it back for repair. They removed and re-installed it, aligned properly again, I just hope it stays on.

IMO - this is a definite return. Just the picture itself is enough to show the SC it’s a redo. The SC general mgr probably knows they don’t do many CB light bars so they are not experienced yet. You’re not a Karen.

That is sloppy work……I would return for a refit; hopefully they don’t crack the base pulling it off the windshield. First one I see that’s misaligned that bad.

Thanks everyone, I guess a 3 hour drive to the service center is in my near future?

I’d think that’s a very time consuming redo. Removing it will most likely break the light bar(not your problem) then cleaning all the old adhesive off will be a bitch.

Goodluck with it!

Lesson learned for you is to always inspect the work prior to signing or leaving
I agree, I normally do but my wife was doing me a favor and took it to to the SC, she still thinks it looks fine?‍♂

Maybe it does “look fine” in person. In the provided picture from that angle it looks like whoever stuck it on didn’t even put cursory effort into lining it up with the truck lines.
Does the other side also overhang the apex like that?

Nope, other side looks perfect!
Here’s a picture of the other side.

So, food for thought, have they done your cantrail recall yet?

No, I haven’t had any issues with mine and since it’s wrapped in black, I’ve been putting that off until absolutely necessary. But I did think about that.

I haven’t done mine either and not sure how much alignment leeway there is but it may at least be worth having them do both at the same time to maximize the chance of desirable cosmetic alignment at the end.
Hard for me to believe what you see there is all that consequential from a function standpoint so if the cantrail were a little higher, meh? Maybe it gives the service center some flexibility they would appreciate and they would therefore be more open to helping.
Someone posted on here yesterday also that Tesla gave them a store credit to compensate for the rewrap job.
