OMG!! I wonder if it is based on location. I'm not sure. I have buddies here in Arizona who ordered after I did, and they already have theirs.

Yes, everything under the sun is a factor. I was on the first round of Foundation Series email invites; 12/8. Configured Beast the next day. VIN assignment was around 4/17. Delivery was 5/2 which was only the second day of my SC deliveries.

As time goes on the timelines get shorter.

Lucky dog, I’m RN11319, 12/25 and Oct-Dec. figures, they are definitely not going in a sequential order. But I went with white and current production line is greys.

Yeah, it’s weird because there was a lot of discussion about about tactical Gray being delayed and white interiors getting earlier delivery dates around the time that I configured mine. So I was definitely not expecting to have the vehicle before October November timeframe. Obviously, I’m thrilled to be getting it in two days!!!

I drove by my pick up location today to see if the truck was already out there and there was a truck with my exact spec in the lot but when I checked the Vin number it was very very close to, but not mine. So, clearly there is some truth to your statement that they are producing grays right now. Is this just a S.W.A.G. or was that reported somewhere that I missed?

That's just how Tesla does things, in batches. Then they match the production up with the orders. It saves you and I money to not treat each vehicle like a custom order.
