Have you had any sign significant seat time in one?
Yeah I mentioned in the OP that I was just finishing a 48 hour test drive. I also rented one last year in the summer.

Haven't driven a beast though, both have been AWD...

I made a similar post when I got my email invite for a foundation series. Same points you are making, I could afford it, but it’s more money than I’ve ever spent on a car, extremely hard want etc…

I ultimately decided to wait for a non-fs AWD. Even though I missed out on some of the incentives that are available today, I really feel it was the best choice.

a few questions for you;
1) Why Beast and not AWD?
2) Would you be using Supercharging that much? Consider the cost of supercharging vs what you’d be spending at home.

I used free supercharging for the first 3 months, setting aside the obvious benefit, I found it inconvenient to charge for 45 minutes every few days vs plugging in at home.
100. It would have been nice to have free SC but in the end, with 20% charge left and you're on the way home from work, are you going to park for 45 min behind some WaWa station or just head home, plug it in, take your shoes off, watch TV and have a beer?

Once you get your head around that it's a really good pickup truck, faster than a (insert expensive sports car name), Concert (audio system) and Chauffeur (FSD), there's nothing else that's close to all those things.

As you know the only diff between Beast and AWD is 1 motor. BUT, there's a BIG difference in fun (if you're so inclined). Beast gets off the line quicker than a Plaid.

I keep talking to my wife about “should I get X instead” (corvette, a different pick up truck, rivian, etc) but none of them really scratch the itch you know.

Completely understand thats the part the blows my mind about the CT to this day, that its doing so many things well, it doest make sense. I'm also a Rivian Quad Motor Gen 2 reservation holder but, frankly it isn't near the vehicle the CT is (but it pretty!). Tesla's Tech is so far ahead. Only two draw backs to Beast for me...
One. I do wish it looked a little different. I of course like it but dont need all the attention, I bought it before all the politics stuff (which seems to be calming down thankfully).
Two. Range. I don't have range issues because I don't drive more than ~160-200 miles in a day 99.9% of the year so I rarely super charge. If your use case is something that pushes the range commonly, that's a consideration. Tesla has been perfect at handling any fit/finish issue I've had so no complaints there.

I LOVE the way it looks. I don’t necessarily love the attention but I love the style.

The range is disappointing, but it’s more than the Model Y P I have now. I’ve also managed to order the lowest range trim lol, in theory I can add some back with wheel and/or tire changes.
Free supercharging also mitigates some of the range problem.

I got a X loaner while they installed my lightbar. The Cybertruck drove so much better. Can’t believe you haven’t drove a beast with 2 dual motor rentals under your belt. I was in off road mode the other day while on pavement. At 45 mph you can spin the tires, crazy power!

I’m a very early reservation holder who has been dying to buy a Cybertruck since the 2019 announcement.

I absolutely don’t “need” a Cybertruck, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting one.

I was able to get a foundation series beast reserved with free supercharging, $12k off, and now the 0% financing offer.
Right now I’m finishing up a 48 hour test drive and am reminded of how much I enjoyed driving one the first time.

However, now that my Sunday delivery date draws nearer I’m getting cold feet about spending so much money on a definite luxury.

i can “afford it” but keep thinking of what else I could do with the 108k.

I also keep coming back to this being the end of the Foundation series. It seems unlikely there will ever be another 0% + free supercharging offer anytime soon as I’ve seen the local stock vanish. In hindsight I maybe should have saved $20k and picked up an AWD Foundation but they’re long since gone in my local area.

I’m really mostly venting a bit, but I welcome any advice either way on what to do! Should I just go ahead with it and sell it if it becomes a guilty burden?
I've had my foundation AWD three weeks and while a luxury, its a pure joy to drive. it's an amazing car. I have no regrets. I too got the lifetime supercharging and FSD but no beast. it's wild regardless...

I’ve driven an X and really like it. It’s probably a better car for “the family” than the CT in a 6 seat configuration. However the CT is loads more fun and up my alley.
I was never offered a beast on either drive!

First time driving one will be mine on the way home lol

I originally ordered all-wheel-drive but saved enough over four years to buy the cyber beast !! I’ve had my cyber beast a year now, and there’s no regrets! You’re getting one heck of a deal, so you should be very happy!
I think only 1 in 20 cyber trucks are cyber beasts. That’s not a lot. The value of the cyber beast will remain higher in the long run.
As long as your budget can afford it. I’d say don’t worry about it, Just do it!
Some say that money can’t buy happiness!! But buying a CyberBEAST Definitely Does!!?
