I haven’t done mine either and not sure how much alignment leeway there is but it may at least be worth having them do both at the same time to maximize the chance of desirable cosmetic alignment at the end.
Hard for me to believe what you see there is all that consequential from a function standpoint so if the cantrail were a little higher, meh? Maybe it gives the service center some flexibility they would appreciate and they would therefore be more open to helping.
Someone posted on here yesterday also that Tesla gave them a store credit to compensate for the rewrap job.
That’s a great idea, thanks. I’ll ask about it.

The service center that installed my lightbar told me the adhesive needs to dry before being driven and suggested waiting overnight before driving.

Yes, they are going to fix it, they are going to remove and reinstall the light bar. Hopefully, this process goes smoothly?. I sent them the photos of their quality work and received no arguments from them.

Of course they can’t get me until mid July but at least they will make it right.

What does your wife think? Still that it’s close enough? Would she have left it as is if it wasn’t for you?

She is shorter than me so from her angle it looks ok, once I had her step on a step ladder at my height it became obvious to her. She agrees and thinks we should have it fixed.
They told her when she picked up the truck that they had to wait an hour for the adhesive to cure. I am wondering if that’s long enough for the adhesive because when we leave the service center, we drive three hours north at about 80 miles an hour on the interstate. Not sure if the light bar could shift at all with those wind speeds ??‍♂.

Sounds entirely plausible. Anyway, glad they are fixing it for you. Hope all goes well with the windshield. Not sure if that is a real concern or just paranoid stuff I read on COC.
Either way, the adventure should now be on teslas dime until it’s right.?

Service center just installed my light bar. My wife took it down to the service center for me since I was working and she had an appointment nearby the service center. When she got it home, connecting the lights in the B-pillar and setting it up was a breeze. When I removed the black tape over the lights, I noticed that the light bar was misaligned with my windshield on the driver side. Super frustrating since the service center is three hours away from my house.
What would you all do just let it be or make them fix it next time I go down there? Is this even a simple fix?

Pardon my ignorance but what is the purpose of the light bar?

Mostly looking beastly but theoretically some additional off-road lights when you need them. ?

That's what I thought. Speaking of off-roading , why doesn't Elon offer emergency Star Link access for CT owners? Even if you had to pay per use it would be peace of mind when you are out in the middle of nowhere .

He does. All you need is a compatible mobile phone. In fact, it is a free service throughout the world.

Really? What constitutes a compatible mobile phone ?
