You have to do it at least once. Don’t be in a rush. I actually think it can be done in about 2 hours.
and it still looks just as good after a rainshower or after you do a regular wash ? without redoing the procedure over again ?

I hand washed the beast yesterday for the first time and it was a workout for me. I used car soap and water. When I was drying it with towels, you could see plenty of ghost water spots, but when it was completely dry it looked fine. That front window is a real bugger. You have to have NBA wingspan to get the inside of it. Someone mentioned a towel on a stick for the inside window. I feel sorry for the people that don’t have a garage to park in evey night. I don’t think I could manage without one as I like to keep my vehicles clean. What are the latest thoughts on using a car wash?
See pictures. This is the best way I’ve found to clean inside and outside windows. I got the tool from O’Reilly Auto Parts. Maybe Auto Zone has it as well. For inside windshield just spray on the microfiber pad and start at the bottom. Works great and streak free.

For sure. I think of it as a clay wax on a regular car exterior. Just watch the entire video. I’m surprised you have not seen this. This guy from OOS Detailing flew to Austin to work on his friends truck and went through several trial and error solutions and formulas before coming up with this process. It was crazy how he figured it out.

How are you using/applying the ironX?

i noticed spots on hood after first wash.

for the rims i use straight Simple Green Degreaser in a spray bottle. Adams Tire cleaner with a tire brush to clean the tires. Chemical Guys Honeydew PH Neutral Soap, NO WAX or Gloss Enhancers or any aditives and foam cannon for washing the SS and ONR/water as a bug remover and detail spray for fingerprints. Also you MUST use IronX to decontaminate the rust it worked great for me. if your truck is super dirty then i use CarPro Reset Soap instead.

I just finished cleaning the stainless steel panels. I used the ammonia free glass cleaner pictured above to clean all the fingerprints and grime off. It works great for obvious dirt, grim and fingerprints but I hadn't shined up the panels before.

So to do that I went almost how tesla manual describes cleaning the panels. I used citrisurf 77 and scotch Brite blue pad and scrubbed down each panel, then wiped it away with a microfiber towel wet with water and then dried it with a dry microfiber towel. It worked great. No rust spots or water spots. Manual technically says for the citrisurf to sit for 3 minutes on the panels and keep off the trim. I'm inpatient and I'm not gonna frog tape the tirm so I just made the scotch Brite pad wet with citrisurf and scrubbed with it and by the time I was done with each panel I would rinse the panel where I started to allow about 3 minutes per panel. This controlled the cirtrisuf 77 well. I also used the water soaked towel to rinse the plastic trim to keep white stains from the citrisurf 77 getting on them.

I thought it worked better than BKF IMHO.

For the interior using honest company baby wipes works well. To get mineral sunscreen and tougher stains out of interior I have used Aveeno makeup remover wipes and then cleaned over it with the baby wipes. Works well IMHO.

70% Alcohol for stubborn dirt, per TSC, and Windex or any good quality ammonia free glass cleaner (window tint safe) for finger prints, etc; works great for me.
