Some people still get the unsoldered version as some service centers haven't used the newer install instructions that has Tesla doing that step and only leaving the connector disconnected in the B pillar.They changed the wiring and you don't have to solder wires anymore as is shown in that video. Nor did Tesla give me any extra wire to do so.
If your lightbar isn't showing up then 1 or more of the following is true:
1) Tesla didn't solder it up top and if you take off the top plastic rail and look you will find wiring either not connected or missing.
2) Tesla did solder the connections up top but botched the job and one or more wires is loose and not properly soldered (slim chance but possible)
3) The connector in the B pillar is not attached
4) Your lightbar is defective internally inside the lightbar and its circuits are not being identified by the truck despite everything being wired properly.
Which of these items have you checked or eliminated?
