They changed the wiring and you don't have to solder wires anymore as is shown in that video. Nor did Tesla give me any extra wire to do so.
Some people still get the unsoldered version as some service centers haven't used the newer install instructions that has Tesla doing that step and only leaving the connector disconnected in the B pillar.

If your lightbar isn't showing up then 1 or more of the following is true:
1) Tesla didn't solder it up top and if you take off the top plastic rail and look you will find wiring either not connected or missing.
2) Tesla did solder the connections up top but botched the job and one or more wires is loose and not properly soldered (slim chance but possible)
3) The connector in the B pillar is not attached
4) Your lightbar is defective internally inside the lightbar and its circuits are not being identified by the truck despite everything being wired properly.

Which of these items have you checked or eliminated?

I’d still check the roof connection if I were you. When I had my lightbar initially installed they did not follow the current procedure properly and left the soldering for me. I went down a similar path of troubleshooting to you and when I pryed the roof appliqué up they had run the wiring harness but left the bare wires exposed in the roof for me to “connect”. After walking them through their updated bulletin they properly installed it so that I just had to make the pillar connection. Worth the 30 seconds of your time to pry the panel up to ensure the soldering is done, might save you some headaches. Best of luck.

Heads up, the glue will not last long. Only lasted 25 days in AZ. My truck is back at the SC to attach a new light bar..my light bar came off while driving and luckily only broke the plastic roof applique.

A big part of the problem is the wind flowing up the giant windshield and ramming UNDER the light bar! This causes the light bar to eventually pry off the silly glue.

Once I get my truck back Im going to use the thin molding I used for wind noise on my Model 3. Im going to push it under the light bar to prevent moisture, wind ramming AND wind noise. Tesla should have included a molding of some sort.

That’s why future applications are using a better primer/adhesive. But the insertion of closing the gaps with molding sounds like a good idea. Do you have a pic of the molding you are using?

See the link above the pictures. I will test it out once I get the truck back.

Thank you all for your help, I got it working this morning. You were right @REM , I just didn't push the connector in hard enough.

Could have sworn this was on my troubleshooting list for you:

3) The connector in the B pillar is not attached
4) Your lightbar is defective internally inside the lightbar and its circuits are not being identified by the truck despite everything being wired properly.

Please let us know if it works/fits. I'm in Arizona too and don't relish having my new lightbar fly off.

Sure it was. And rechecking the connection was the second thing I did this morning, after checking the top wire as in 1) to make sure that was done.
