Wired my Starlink Min with Veritas Vans Mount through the roof using the Cybertruck roof applique crossbar door. Went through the grommet for the light bar wiring, into the B pillar, and found a hole towards the rear. Ran the cable down the B pillar behind the weatherstripping clips and drilled a small hole for it to exit near the floor. It would have been even easier with a short USB C cable. I didn't want to mess with the 48V lead because I'm still waiting for my light bar!

I like the way you routed that, but I have had a hard time seeing the utility of having the Starlink outside increasing drag, potential catastrophic failure (damage or even flying off when in motion), theft, etc. when you can simply mount it under the top glass.

I'm 6'5" and the starlink mini does not get in the way whatsoever, and even fits nicely under the OEM sunshade.

I have had mine suction cupped to the inside of the top glass for the last 6 months and it has been flawless. Fast, stays connected, no worrying about someone outside tampering, etc.
It never moves, and the mount cost me about 8 hours print time, $2.5 in PETG and a $18 suction cup kit from Amazon - printables member clloyds posted the files and links to the suction cups:

I'm just paranoid if we hit something or roll I don't want it flying around in the cabin with the kids. Plus we are going to be living out of it for August and I've heard a few people complain about headaches with it inside. I can take it off after vacation and leave the wire hidden under the trim.

Can anyone tell me what the part is called, that little pig tail that was not used here in this post. It is the connection for the upper light bar and I can not find it in the parts catalog. I am getting the roof appliques for crossbars on my 2025 all wheel drive CT installed in a few days and I was told the I also need to get this pigtail because the 2025 did not come with them.

Anyone have starlink in bed of the truck? Is the tonneau material able to interfere with signal transmission?

You will not be able to get any signal past the metal slats. Even the rear glass as metal in it, and interferes with the signal quite a lot.

I found the simplest install was to add a piece of Velcro to the back side and place it on the dash. Never have signal issues. The cable stays managed inside the center console where it’s plugged in. It’s easy

I believe the tonneau material is aluminum, so it would pretty much block all signals from the satellites, and reflect your transmitted back at your dish. Essentially radio-opaque at Starlink frequencies. The vault would actually be a pretty decent Faraday cage... ?

After moving it around a few times (on a crossbar over the roof and inside the cabin on the dash and on the glass roof), I think I’ve settled on this. It’s just easy this way. It’s safe for occupants, doesn’t interfere with the doors or lightbar harness, and is easy to remove if needed.

Super clean using the magnets and stick on metal disks vs the suction cups.

I used a rack ear from a piece of network equipment, and a couple zip ties. This slots between the dash pad and the front console frame - it never moved at all - even when doing some pretty gnarly trails. I ultimately mounted it on the inside of the rear top glass roof with a 3d printed mount and suction cups though.
