Apologies if I missed it, could you please share details on the Magsafe? phone mount off the front of the console? Thanks!
Not sure who you are asking but if it’s in my truck I use the magbak ones on either side of the screen and love them. One for the passenger and one for the driver

I use binder clips and magnets to hold my low cost sunshade in place. Build a better life by stealing office supplies.

Forgot to mention that I use strong magnets to keep my Starlink mini in place on the megadash.

You can cover the dish with a matte gray to match the dash and prevent a lot of glare; just make sure it isn't metallic.

Lots of cool stuff going on here. What’s the patterned stuff? A visor decal? Is it feasible for you to shoot a little video of how you deploy and/or put it away?

I used flat black and it sort of blends with the dashboard. Is grey better for reducing glare?
I thought black meant, absorbs all frequencies and reflects none. That was the logic I used at least.

LOL, I pay homage to all my sci-fi faves my truck. That decal is from The Last Starfighter Gunstar heads up display. There's Max Headroom lurking on the other visor, Matrix's (ReBoot) bionic eye target on the rearview mirror, Buckaroo Banzai and the Hong Kong Cavaliers on the back window, Weyland Yutani decal, Roy Batty, and Hitchhiker's Guide.

I think I am kind of like your kids are with Bluey.

The on/off is just grab the sunshade from the backseat, shove it on the dash and affix the floppy fabric part between the binder clip and the little peg magnet. Removal in reverse, magnets stay affixed to binder clips.

black is probably fine too, but gray may help a little better with heat absorption. It's a tough device and can take extreme temps, but having it under a huge piece of glass definitely doesn't help lol

It doesn’t but fwiw the only overheat alarm I ever got on it happened when I left the car parked in Arizona with less than 20% SOC and therefore no cabin overheat protection. Pretty predictable. If I had known the charge was going to get that low I’d have tuned the Starlink off but it took unexpectedly long to get back to the car.

What about through the glass? Anyone sandwich magnets across it to hold stuff on the outside or inside?

Have you found where to get scent replacements for that diffuser? Got it as a gift on one of my orders. Can't seem to find them anywhere legitimate.
