How to fit 36" tires (35.7) on stock wheels without rubbing.

The only tire that this works with is the Toyo AT III EV tires in 285/70R20.

Trimmed off the wrench flats that do nothing after assembly that also can just get trimmed off a replacement upper ball in 100,000 miles.

Clearance with the 36" is about the same as stock tires had before the tip was circumcized.

The Port a band took about 30 seconds per side. The camo Crocks are optional but no mullets.

A lot better, almost as quiet despite being actually great tread in snow and dirt. The energy app actually shows less energy consumed per mile since the upgrade but I'll drive 100 miles and compare the 100 and 200 mile history for energy on the energy app and then comment.

This is the high on road height but I can drop it all the way down to entry or go up to the highest offroad setting, turn the wheel all the way either way and not rub.

I actually got better mileage on my Diesel Chevy Colorado when I bumped it up to 35” tires with stock suspension.

No the spacers will ruin the whole setup and cause it to rub when turned sharp.

By the time they need replacement the tapered shank of a ball joint is typically stuck enough in its bore that it wont spin with an impact and it takes a hammer tap to get it to move after the nut is backed off.

The new tires having as much clearance as the stock ones did was my goal for good reasons.

The mountain pass UCA's look like they have an internal allen so it has about the same clearance.

That is because it was trimmed off in both those pics.

Just cut off the wtench flats that stick out past the nut. Here is a pic of a upper taken apart so its easy to see.

How much was the set of tires?

$532 orso each. if you look for discount codes and have military/responder discount about te. $2020.73 shipped plus tax $2185.59 toyo also has a $100 rebate so $2085.59 and install cost me $100. So about $2100 installed.

I feel better with the trim. With lower airpressures off road and wheel spin tires deform differently than at on road air pressue.
