Funny. I just had the exact experience. At Tesla's Rocklin (near Roseville / Sacramento area), I dropped off on Wed and they said end of day, then "waiting for parts" then due Friday. Then I get a call. They said "the service manager is not confident in the sturdiness of the design. He thinks bolts might be wrong. He doesn't want to put you on (or off) the road with this kit." So they put back together with original parts. Weird. I mean, why take a chance if the grease monkey experts doesn't feel good about it. But still. Odd.They updated the schedule to say it will be completed Tuesday but who knows anymore. It’s a crazy world we will live in. I know they don’t have any folks at my service center who work on the cybertrucks sat/sun so we are now at, being very generous, 5 days for installation. Not counting the first two days it sat there waiting for other parts.
