Damn BA Wiper wipes

I'm getting tired of the dry wipes - I turn them off as soon as I turn on FSD but it still does that first wipe scraping along a dry windshield.

So I'm thinking to add this ghetto MacGyver option to the frunk just to spray some water first before turning on FSD

Come on Tesla, just give us an option to not wipe when FSD is turned on.

Use voice commands, “Wiper Off” as soon as you turn on FSD. That way you don’t have to push the wiper button to bring up the card to turn them off.

I also am so tired of this! Also if you do want to use the wash function you get at least 1-2 dry wipes before you get liquid which in turn smears everything on the windshield making it more difficult to clean. Why is wiper engineering so damn difficult!?

Tesla ‘could’ program this as a function… if they wanted to

..which I thought they did, I read somewhere not long ago, the BAW will hold stationary at bottom of windshield and spray water first… then wipe..

they could also program a pre-soak mode… slow downstroke while laying a load of spray.. pause.. then wipe

I thought you could never really turn the wipers off when using FSD… this ensures the sensors surface is always clear for proper detection…

meaning they are always on during FSD.. or did they change this again?

You can always override it - I put rainx on my windshield and in the rain I end up turning down the speed and FSD does fine.

You can completely turn it off when on FSD.

Wipers default on with FSD. They can be turned off on FSD. Voice command will not trigger the wipe.

Not if you use voice to turn it off. Yours is so bad that it wipes as soon as you turn on fsd every time?
