I’m not saying I never would buy another Tesla if they don’t provide free supercharging at this point. But I most certainly will not be the first in line and may not get one for a year after a new model comes out. The flipside is that if they do provide Free supercharging for our cyber trucks, I will most certainly be first in line and they will have gone a long way in promoting customer loyalty at least with me.
They won't. They wouldn't even give Model S owners the upgrade in ram to use Steam, even though it was advertised on the car.

Tesla has a long history of this like dropping pricing, free fsd transfers, removing or adding features and they stand by "you got what you ordered".

And recouping some of that cost is why they conceived of (and then dramatically expanded) the Foundation Series ploy in the first place. Although I know it doesn’t make them completely whole by any stretch, it’s still kind of an Ouroboros.

Again, to be very clear with you, I understand that I got everything that I bargained for and I don’t have a problem with that. But will I sign a petition that somebody creates saying I think I should get free supercharging for life? 100% yes!

Will I be one of the guys trying to stop somebody who’s motivated to do that and try and point out all the reasons why Tesla should not consider giving me free supercharging for life?

No, I will not be that guy.
This!

I don't understand the fanboyism flaunted by some here.
To the too-rich-to-thinks that said if the price of CT goes up, should the owners give money back to Tesla: no, we are talking about things that are within Tesla's control or not.

I would give them back my credits in the store for free SC! They don't have anything in the store I want or need that is ever in stock anyway. I mean $1250 for a spare, and "tool kit" c'mon.

I know that other Tesla purchasers have complained when they purchase a vehicle then a week later there is a price drop or free added item like supercharging but We CT owner's waited for years to get the truck and paid a premium for them to be early adopters / market the truck by showing it to others. Yes We love our trucks. It would be a great show of gratitude by Tesla to give us (a relatively small group) Foundation Owners lifetime supercharging. I don't use supercharging often but would love to have it for road trips without charge. I'd even pay say $2k to add it to the vehicle.

Well haven’t seen this thread for a minute.

If you do not have your payment lined up, and taking acceptance by TSC closing time today, all is lost.

No lifetime Super Charging for you!

The free supercharging is what got me to buy a CT last month ..have had free SC on all my teslas since 2013..my current X I have used it extensively to the point of at currrent CA rates it has almost half the value of the original price ..was fortunate they had a few in stock that had the white and 35s

Was it really relatively small group? I read upwards of 30,000+ Foundations were produced. That’s not a small amount to give free supercharging, IMO.

Do you see battery degradation faster when supercharging the car as the people claim?

I have used supercharging about 80% of the time and sitting at ~10% deg…which in my opinion is decent for 350k miles …although I can charge at home I drive a lot and use SC often ….im not to worried about using SC often on the CT

Yet another slap in the face to us. This could have easily been a way forward to reward early adopters of the CT. But no. I mean it’s really becoming increasingly unfair at this point. We’re siloed off with no pathway to free lifetime supercharging.

Why do these purchasers deserve this type of consideration more than we do?

We had a few threads about that when it first happened.

You must have been tied up. Yeah, it’s sucky. FS owners should be taken care of, coming from a NFS owner.

To me the logic would be if you first in with the foundation badge of new adopter , SC should be free and the late adopters should be not getting the perk …. And thus stimulate them to be the early adopter and more sales for Tesla more momentum for adoption of the truck ..

Maybe being a strong fan they know they have got you so no perks are offered … persuade the late adopters with the convincing push over the line to buy the truck .
