I keep seeing this and get the frustration but this is not how software dev works. Those who worked on this likely have a different skillset. They probably just swapped the visuals for the vehicle similar to how its done with rainbow road or Santa's sleigh. Probably took more time to create the models.

It's not like Ashok peeled off 15 guys from FSD for this.

Agreed. But sigh….. CT feels like a bit of a distant cousin.

Ok, FSD I can see several reasons but not sure why we don’t have B-Piller in Sentry mode. The feed is already there in the camera feeds when you are watching thru the app.

I mean if any car is going to get burnt, it’s probably a CT.

It is not listed in the release notes I got for this update, along with a few other things on the list you sent. I wonder if that list is for other models only because I have the update and I don't see any charger visualization either.

Looks like the only useful feature on this release is B-piller camera feed in sentry mode - Finally !!!

People are having the same reaction to this as they did when Apple put U2’s “Songs of Innocence” on everybody’s device back in ‘14. I never really understood the annoyance then you were being given a free album and if you didn’t like it you could just delete it.

I have similar feelings here. It looks pretty, cool but it is a little bit different since it’s definitely an advertisement. It’s not like they’re downloading the movie to our hard drives. It seems like there’s an on off switch, but I don’t know how much space it’s taking up or what not, but it is a potential slippery slope. I like Tron, but I don’t know how I’m gonna feel about the Legends of the Fall Part II tie-in next time.
