nope - sloth will pull you down to the speed limit, chill will go just aboveSo you can no longer adjust the max speed by rolling the right scroll wheel up and down?
I think a lot of the feedback they've gotten so far is based around that. I just did a 1,000 mile trip this past weekend and there were many places where the speed limit would change from town to town, and the only sign when leaving them was 'end 35 MPH Speed Limit' and it's just generally known that the state speed limit on byroads is 55MPH and the truck never changed the displayed speed limit. I had to set the max speed up to 62 or so.I don’t love that. My FSD is not always that good at telling what the speed limit actually is and what reasonable people do on said road
yeah, the contextual awareness in v14 has expanded by quite a lot. The new speed modes should work well for the vast majority of the cases now.My current FSD tries to do 50 in school zones sometimes when there are literally children everywhere and does 20 sometimes through the same roads in the middle of the night. It lacks context. Maybe 14 is way smarter but that’s a bit of a bummer to take away speed I out from the driver.
Fair. That’s the goal. I’m not quite ready to give up control of max speed and a brake pedal. I’d prefer they retain that until I learn to trust it. Maybe as a toggle option?yeah, the contextual awareness in v14 has expanded by quite a lot. The new speed modes should work well for the vast majority of the cases now.
