Any solutions to prevent further damage of the cheap interior panel?! (Other than a GLP1)

You gotta step out instead of slide out, Deamn look at those seat wrinkles
My seat wrinkles are worse than that and I think a lot of us saw that with the first couple of months. The other piece I think is don’t let the seatbelt slap against the door every time you take it off.

I can’t see how the seatbelt slap causes the gashes-? Maybe when I shut the door? Anyhow- it needs some kind of armor. Probably will have to do duck tape until I buy the piece new. My bad- I should have put plastic covers on the furniture before sitting on it.

you either have a materials defect, or you are beating up your interior a lot more than most others lol

I just cleaned my truck and where my dogs jump into and out of the back seat the plastic looks mangled. I can deal with it but it would be nice if the material in high-traffic areas was pretty much bulletproof.

I wonder if aftermarket carbon fiber or fiberglass resin replacement parts would be a good idea.

I’ve definitely got wear on the outside edge of the drivers’ seat from ingress/egress, but IDGAF. I like to think of it as “ass customization”.

If it’s ever bad enough to truly bother me, I’ll swap out the relevant parts.

Perhaps one day this will be a desirable second hand part if you get famous enough.
Cyberseat customized by @CyberGus’s ass. $1000 or best offer.

When @CyberGus sits around the truck, he really sits AROUND the truck!

Note: It may not be funny today, but this joke slayed when CyberGus and Methuselah were in grade-school together. SLAYED!! 😏

Once every couple of months I wipe down the entire interior with a vinyl, plastic, leather protection/cleaner. Takes about fifteen minutes. Seems to delay wrinkles and splitting.

The soft material are easy to tear. I had a little tear on the door sill area after few weeks owning.

While Cybertruck have nice premium material, however as a truck, I think the hard rugged plastics used in Toyota, Ford trucks are better long term.

I’m with @CyberGus on this. Teslas are like Lego sets. You don’t like the wear? Just change the part out. It’s self insurance as compared to spending a whole bunch of dough on prevention.
Also beats you having to figure out exactly what is going to wear in your car.
