You’re joking, right? My AWD is by far the fastest accelerating car I have ever owned, faster than our MYLR and M3LR, and probably close to the cafe racers I used to ride. Give one to a teen and they are toast.

I am guessing it is the same as the Long Range and you can add it. I am curious about the rear tail light strip too.

The tail light is $800 at the Tesla parts site, but I'm not sure if the truck would need a configuration change.

Something is happening within 10 days. Don't know what exactly, but it's probably not going to be a price drop. If the price goes down, then wouldn't everyone just cancel their reservation, forfeit their $250 deposit, and place another order at the lower price?

Exactly, super low odds of that happening and if price does drop you have a $250 bailout plan

I have aftermarket seat covers in mine, they are nicer than factory, after a few years when they start to wear, chuck them and put a new set on.

Zero chance of a price drop.

Tesla is gauging ‘elasticity of demand’ for the new trim. Elon is gauging demand over a very short 10 day window. If sales don’t spike at $60k this would indicate to Tesla leadership that the polarizing styling or demand for a BEV pickup could be responsible for slow sales, not the price point.

Tesla has a few choices to make. Redesign the exterior, come to terms that it will be a low volume model, kill off the platform, etc.
