Finally pulled the trigger, had my reservation since 11/2021 I think. Anyone (Besides Crissa) have a lower reservation number than me that's still waiting? Never was interested in FSD, air suspension is just something else that can break, don't need a rear screen, not a fan of leather or pleather. The only dissapointments for me is the sound system and the brake lights, which can be addressed at a later time.

Might want to cancel and get a referral code on it to bring the price to $58,990! Or try reaching out to a sales advisor. I know you used to be able to do that.

Thanks. It’s definitely stamped into the steel wheel. Not a huge fan of the styling but will reserve judgement until I see one in person.

A hot topic on the new trim is the sound system, 7 speakers vs. 15 in the Premium version. The lead Cybertruck engineer, Wes, had this to say:

So, now we have a $59k for a few days*, $79k and a $99k…

When are used prices going to drop?

$74k-$90k for used is outright not reasonable.

Not when you can just buy new!

$55k to $70k maybe?!

*Guess it’s only ten day sale so to not drop the price of used overall?
This is what made me pull the trigger on the $60K. I've been following the used prices for the past year and half.

Does anyone know if the backseats will be the same as the ones in the RWD trim? No center fold down console and cupholder?
Most likely. They wouldn't tool up new seat designs for a short production run.

That's good to know, I definitely like some tunes when driving. I know our Model Y sounds great, IMO.

I look at the order as a hedge against Elon's unknowns. I always wanted a stripped down version in the beginning. Yet didn't want to wait so got Foundation. Have an early VIN.

I look at 5 possible outcomes at the end of the 10 day period

1. Price goes up as they just gobble RWD stuff and no longer offer.
2. Price goes up slightly as they just found price discovery and people are happy for that option to continue to build.
3. Elon shows some new pricing in 10 days
4. The 10 day was a blurb of Elon's in one of many and it is extended
5. Something better will be announced in June the day after we take delivery of stripped down AWD

Damn those wheels are ugly. Glad I have another set of foundation wheels to swap.
