Yeah the lack of Summon or any features like that have been pretty annoying honestly. I tag Wes every post I see about it.

Yeah don’t mind getting ASS but not missing it. What I am looking forward to is watching YouTube while FSD is driving.

Lol. Summon would be nice if I could just call it to me and not have to monitor it. That and Tesla was liable if anything happened. Tried it on my wife's model y and it nearly ran into the side of a tow truck that was sideways directly in front of it. This was in a nearly empty bucees parking lot which is huge. Never tried it again.

Funny how I (we?) would count the days for the next update and now it's mostly just "Meh".
I mean, there's still features we are waiting for and changes and updates but not much "Wow!" left. And, that's just because it's already so good.

Realistically, I'm waiting for:
1. Dialing in FSD and speeds (finally fixed my right side of lane hogging by recalibrating cameras. Spot on now!)
2. Summon/Actual Smart Summon/Banish
3. Rear Squat for loading bed (think driving motorcycle up into the bed)
4. Squat down from trailer for disconnect (long press tonneau close button would result in squatting the rear so you can get the ball to disconnect... or something similar)
5. Parking spot area selection. I'd like to say "Park somewhere near here in the parkinglot by dropping a "Close to here" pin.
6. Adjustable noise cancellation
7. Siren/party light warning on-screen (It can be hard to hear emergency vehicles coming through traffic
8. "Follow my friend". Think road trip following another Tesla. You select them from your friends list (or whatever) and they "approve" you. Then, your car will stay with them as much as possible. If you miss a light, your car will catch up to them and maybe theirs would slow a bit to match.
9. Meet friend. Same approval concept but this is to coordinate a meeting place. Think trying to link up in a large parking lot at an event.
10. Selectable delay for windshield wiper. Even my Dad's 1984 Berlinetta Camaro would let you hit the button to start the delay and then hit the button to set the delay time. Much better than the way the CT works. (Oh, just figured out that if you are using the delay, every hit of the wiper button moves it one delay shorter or longer in a loop)
11. "Copy me" function. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE if I could show my CT how to park at my house. Not behind the car in front of the garage. Not next to the car in front of the garage. Not 90 degrees to the car in front of the garage. Under the carport. Where you've parked 539 nights already. Right next to your charger. That only you have used. LOL... actually, that's the real number. Such a nerd.

There's 1,000 other pie-in-the-sky changes or fixes or new capabilities but these are all easy kills except maybe number 11.

I will have to try that, my truck rides ON the right line, sometimes, and sometimes even over the right line. I do not understand how it can clearly show the white lines on the screen but not be able to center itself between the lines.

And, I'm in SC helping my sister and bil move and he also has a CT. He has the update message but I do not. Still waiting...I usually get the update before him but I thought it was because I bought my truck 7 months before him.

spot on! follow me! Yes the struggle is real when parking at my home, it goes everwhere except where i want it to park! if my truck could park at walmart or a supercharger, why cant it park where i left it last as i started on todays use. follow my friend, i have two Beasts, i want my son to follow me, its funny when he puts it into beast mode, my changes, because the trucks share my same cell phone, i make the change on the the fly, the other truck does the same. in
in house communications between the trucks as they follow each other would be fantastic, i do drive to several car shows and events with both trucks, communications to my 23 years old is key.
you bring up some fantastic new improvements for Cybertruck software, I hope some of these will become reality
this is why i love this platform, sharing ideas and Realtime experiences to better the cybertruck

thanks for your input

Omg. Not parking in the charging spot at home is my biggest pet peeve! I even did the Google code for the exact spot I want it to park and it's always next to, in front of, across the street to.. Never in the car port. 🤬

FSD 14.2.2.5 update, the red Black beast received the new update 8 days ago, as of Saturday morning, the blue beast has not. Still on FSD 14.2.2.4
This has been the longest span between both trucks on updates so far. Currently the red and black one is in State of Connecticut in Milford and the blue one is now in Georgia with Power share powering the house down there.. they’re both away for a long winter nap. Come on April.! I can’t wait for FSD 14.3

In the left lane, in very slow traffic, mine would act like it's trying to give high fives with mirrors. Now, it is normal.

These 6 are awesome ideas. I hope they come to the truck.

Definitely number 11. Today, my truck backed into my parking spot like I have done myself every single day I get home because when letting FSD try to park, it always parks in my neighbor's assigned spot. Hopefully, after 500 times its learned.

Question for the rest of you. After installing I notice that whenever I use FSD (always set to Hurry) and then come off of FSD if I go into Dynamics the truck is set to Comfort, not to Custom the way I normally would drive the truck around. Is there some setting that changes Dynamics when you are On FSD vs not on FSD? If this cannot be controlled, then are the rest of you seeing this?

I wouldn't mind if it set the Dynamics to comfort while FSD was in use as long as it returned Dynamics to my preferred setting (which is Custom) after FSD was disengaged.

I'm just wondering what the rest of you are experiencing or if you've checked your Dynamics settings while on FSD and after.

I’m finishing a 1000+ mile trip on FSD 12.2.2.4 and it been fantastic. No “hugging”, stayed centered always.

Speed control is another matter lol.
FSD has been quite nice lately. Camera seems more forgiving. Enjoying the hell out of it. Easier than a tuk-tuk in Morroco.

There's a setting in the Autopilot menu (or maybe it's in Dynamics) that will switch it to Comfort whenever FSD is activated. Maybe you have that enabled...?

I had this on before, but I didn't really notice a difference in the way FSD performed if it was in Comfort, so I switched it off for consistency. iirc, it did not switch Dynamics/drive mode back to the previous setting after FSD was turned off (what you're experiencing).
