Anyone upgrade to the "Cyber" wheels from the "Core" wheels or 18" wheels? Do you notice any difference in the ride quality?

I ordered the Non-Premium AWD Cybertruck last week and I really prefer the Cyber wheels, but unfortunately they do not offer them on the non-premium model.

I likely will just buy them from Ebay or Tesla directly, but I wanted to know if anyone has done something similar and if you notice any difference in the ride quality or performance?

Thank you!

I'm not really clear on which version I have. I don't have the off road tires which I would think are knobby tires.

I am planning on sticking with the 18's to offset the ride quality loss from losing air suspension. I'm between these two wheel options.
The HALODISC 2 Wheel Covers for Tesla Model 3 Highland 18" Photon Wheels by HALOBLK Store feature a glossy black, minimalist design with a smooth, solid face. A smaller angled view is shown in the lower left, both on a white background.

In full disclosure there is not a current Halodisc from Halo for Cybertruck, so don't get too excited. I did reach out to them, and they said one is in the works. I suggested that Tesla sold a lot of trucks with 18 inch wheels, that will probably nearly all of them need an upgrade. Halodiscs need to be removed to adjust air pressure in the tires. I think if I were off roading, I would want to take the discs off, so its not a huge issue for me. But something to consider.

with these tires

Falken Wildpeak AT4s probably 285-75-18 (34.8 inches) under $1500 per set of 4 installed!! (I'll use jeep card rewards and get them for free. If I had the truck today, Jeep has buy 3 get 1 free. Jeep dealers don't love working on Tesla's, but they do love money! Buy 3 get 1, ends this month. The next one will probably be in Oct. I wish Tesla had a similar CC rewards program.

The wheel cover option being the lowest cost, and adding aero to my wheels, while maintaining the low weight, and possibly off setting the addition of the tires. The look is not for everyone, but I think paired with these tough tires, and the futuristic looks of the Cybertruck, its going to look really cool, for a low cost upgrade.
My second choice would be the Paradox wheels. They are lower cost relatively to other Cybertruck specific forged wheels, and they have the floating center hub, which is cool. But it has their logo, which is fine, but somewhat less cool. I think an LED backlit SpaceX logo on either of these wheel options would be fire. I'd also love if the Halodisc covers had a floating hub.

Long story short, the 18 inch wheels are very appealing to me. I'd probably want this setup even if I got a premium.

The mounting system for the Halodisc ll wheel covers is very ingenious.

I would recommend trying out the $229 wheel covers first before dropping $2k+ on a set of Paradox 18” wheels.

That’s my plan! I’m just hoping they get them developed by June! If not, I’ll probably just run the wild peaks on the steelies! Just trying to decide if I should order and store them, so I can get the free one! If the dealer would store it, I’d definitely do it. Those Wildpeaks are rated at 4079 lbs per tire, and 112 mph!! Perfect match for the Cybertruck
Also 65k mile warranty, not 55k

HOLD THE DOOR……I DID SOO MANY HOURS OF RESEARCH. ON THIS…HERE YOU GO…
I bought my 2025 AWD Cybertruck with Core tires …I love my Cybertruck but loved the liook of the Cyber Firestone Tires and Mars type looking wheel covers…so……I researched and found you cannot put Cyber tires on your Core rims…the two types of tires also have separate rims. 20 inch on Cyber Wheels..wish I upgraded when I bought the CT.
..you have to buy the Cyber Rims THEN YOU CAN MOUNT THE COOL CYBER FIRESTONE TIRES, BUY THE WHEEL COVERS 75$ from Tesla. DONT BUY THE CHEAP AMAZON CYBER WHEEL COVERS THEY ARE THE OLDER DESIGN THAT RUb AGAINST THE SIDE WALLS OF TIRES…the New Covers have been redesigned
A cybertruck owner I met in Colma Calif turned me onto a CT owner on cT owners club who put custom rims on her CT and sold me Cyber Rims and Tires. Had to drive 1 1/2 hours away but was worth the deal…
Tires had less than 2k on them …
Noise: noticed a slight increase in noise but not bothered by it.. smooth ride with both models but I THINK THE CYBER WHEELS AND RIMS LOOK TOO COOL. BIT OF A CHORE TO TAKE COVERS OFF AND ON BUT AS I SAID ITW WAY WORTH IT …IN MY OPINION.. Took my Grandson in an light off road adventure in foothills of Sierra Nevada met two CT guys who said DONT TRY TO OFF ROADCWITH THE CORE TIRES AND RIMS THEY HZVE SEEN CORE TIRE SIDEWALLS BLOW OUTBWHEN RUB AGAINST ROCKS.
ALSO IF YOU BUY FROM PRIVATE PARTY MAKE SURE THEY HAVE THE TIREPRESURE SENSORS OR ELSE YOU CZNT MONITOR SIRE PRESSURE. AMERICAS TIRES HZVE FIRESTONE TIRES CHEAPER THEN TESLA.
HOPE THIS HELPS PEACE AND SAFE FSD

I'll trade you a set of Cyber rims for the OEM 18's if in SoCal!

I did and specifically wanted them for offroad running on sand at the beach
In snow, amazing setup cyber plus Duratrak
Due to AT and not MT, ok on sand
Dropped psi to 30
No complaints just not as optimized as BFG KM3s which are MT
Highway, great
Sound quiet
Eff seem good
Wear, doing well 7k miles in six months

one addl benefit, I now have a spare
ATS on and one AS in the bed

Yeah I’m hoping some companies come out with some new covers. We will see, fingers crossed.
