You don’t know the first thing about me. So I’m just not even gonna bother responding to your comment about me being litigious.
However, I do believe in consumers rights and I do believe that people have what’s called a consumer expectation test. And that’s just not my belief. It’s actually product liability and consumer law standard, So that large corporations don’t take advantage of consumers with faulty products.

Just because I choose to defend my rights does not make me litigious. It just makes me an informed consumer and not a sheep to any given brand.
I’m right there with you.

I would suggest this be your last. In the nicest way you seem wanting to have your cake and eat it too. As a second time around Tesla owner. There are issues. You seem to want to always have the best. Maybe it isn't your cup of tea.
I've had two Teslas and they've been near perfect. If my truck had as many issues as OP's, I'd be pretty annoyed and wanting a different one as well.

Thank you. I try to be calm and reasonable as much as possible. And advise my clients to do the same until there arises a situation where you just can’t take it anymore.

So they fixed the issues, yet still going with a buyback? Still don't understand.

Just ignore and move on. Had the same type of brand gravy guzzler tell me "If you can't afford the maintenance, maybe a BMW isn't for you" on a different forum. This was in reference to potentially requiring differential and transfer case service every 30K miles to keep them from grenading. Fluids that are, per BMW, "lifetime fluids"...until you're out $12K for a transfer case.

I also have a 25 AWD CT, so far has been pretty good. As I notice small issues I'm just taking it to the SC. You're totally in the right to ask for an in-spec vehicle.

I’m not in the business of helping you understand. You added nothing positive or helpful to this conversation. Have a good evening.

p.s. scroll above and look what I said about the parking Assistance degraded issue with the camera. Have a good night.

Not even close. Did they fix the truck or is one playing numbers game? One shouldn't have both right?

😆. Hilarious and truer advice has never been given.

Honestly at that point I'd wait for the 2028s, that has higher chance of more substantial changes.
Smart money is on 2030.

Just order a base CT and you should get it in 2028 lol
Yeah, not a bad idea, lol.

But I love my air suspension, and I love my dual subwoofers.

So I recently had a buyback app approved on my 2025 AWD

Per North Carolina lemon laws I have the option for a replacement which I am leaning towards.

Any opinions or ideas when the 2027 production will begin?

I’m hoping the 2027s will have updated PCS and other issues more refined than the current model year
As said earlier, Tesla frequently makes changes at random times, but almost never does something significant with the change of model year. Unlike other manufacturers, they also usually just flip the model year with the calendar, not in late summer/early fall.

I expect a Cybertruck update will come "soon", which could include new battery tech and some refinement, possibly a 6-seat option, maybe new Self Driving chip. But "soon" could be this year or next. For my 2 cents I'd wait as long as I could, and then just order. Waiting means you might get an updated model, but as you said you can't wait forever.

With regards to faulty parts, etc, they've probably already fixed them. And Tesla's are largely without problems, but all cars have occasional lemons. My wife's Model 3 had a battery die, which is rare, but they replaced it under warranty, gave her a loaner while it was in the shop, and replaced it with a newer batter that had 100+ extra km of range and worked much better. The failure was annoying but the solution was A++.

Good luck with your new truck.

Thanks for the excellent perspective and I really appreciate it. I’ve wasted tons of man hours on my present truck. So at this point all I’m looking for is to get a replacement that has minor issues that can be resolved quickly and not major ones that take months to fix.

A deep dent from the factory driver side quarter panel.

Numerous rattles and squeaks with the center console and rear screen, assess the whole thing to be swapped out after three or four times to replace apart here there.

The pillar rattles and squeaks

Front hood latch not closing properly and not opening sometimes.

Glass on one of the windows came scratch from the factory. Replacement the same thing.

Driver seat has been replaced three times due to motor issues, squeaks and rattles

Total days out of service exceeded 35 days. And I have camera issues showing Assistance degraded to this day.
What VIN did you get?

The CT already has new battery tech, but it's cheaper for Tesla, doesn't increase range for consumers.

AI5 will be sometime mid-late 2027.

I would guess we won't see anything big for the CT until 2027.
