Looks sharp. Yellow calipers would make it pop
I'm really liking the stealthiness of the current look so reluctant to introduce anything that has bling. It's almost to batmobile looking and clearly isn't a truck that I would take into the desert to thrash it around.

I preferred the core wheels and removed the aero covers before the wrap was installed. They did ceramic coat the wheels so I'll see how that works out.

Excellent PPF choice. It’s one of my top 3 favorites.

From what I can see in the photos your panel alignment looks spot on from the assembly plant.

Yeah thanks, the panel gaps are good and only some slight misalignment of tailgate. I've got to let the PPF/ceramic cure for a few days so I won't be talking any long drives for a while. Then, it's anything goes ...

It's fun to drive and I really want to head for the hills and run some twisty 2 lane roads. Something that big and heavy being so agile is a mind blower.

It is the Legend Clear PPF with 40% tint. It's 8 mil and I'm told best on non-painted surfaces. It's most common use is on headlights. They coated my lightbar (you can see it's darker than usual in the front photo above) with it so it's obviously transparent. When I had it parked in the sun today I could see the stainless but it was very dark looking considering the level of transparency of the film. The thing I like most is no inconsistency of the color of the panels that is unavoidable with the Cybertruck's uncovered 300X series SS. In a way the tinted PPF acts like sunglasses.and trying to see someones eyes through their sunglasses.
Very cool, I think youre convincing me to get clear tinted PPF over a color changing PPF. How did you land on 40% for your decision? After having that truck for a while do you wish you went lighter or darker?

It was a blind purchase other than seeing it on this Cybertruck Youtube video.

It actually turned out just like the truck in that video and I really like it. It looks a bit lighter in direct sunlight and darker (but not black) in the shade. Also it's 8 mil PPF so a bit thicker than color change PPF. That made it a bit more difficult to install and it's a little spendy ($1,800 just for the material) but a friend of a friend did the install so I got a nice price on the labor.

I thought about trying DIY as I'm pretty handy normally but as they say, a mans got to know his limitations.

We took it to San Francisco yesterday and saw 3 other naked Cybertucks there. Two were really dirty and to me looked like well, crap. One was clean and looked fine. They were all rubbernecking us while no one else seemed to pay any attention which was perfect. It is so different than anything else on the road that it should get more looks but out here their pretty common so only kids (and immature people like me) get excited seeing one. 😎

Awesome! You’re in for a treat! You most likely will get it before the end of the month since you are so close to Texas and calf where most of them come from.

Anyone with a ‘26 AWD able to check if the front motor is a rev-G? 😁 If/when my buyback goes through, I’d want a new truck with at least a rev-G front motor.

Wow, Tesla isn't messing around. Delivery scheduling opened 3/17, and appointment set for 3/19.
