I think it happened right after the Premium Connectivity expired in an early 2018 Model 3 Performance that was on paid Premium Connectivity until my credit card expired. I assigned a new valid credit card to my Tesla account but didn't renew the Premium Connectivity in my Model 3 since I like driving the Cybertruck more. Then, when I took the Model 3 Performance on a drive and tried to use my Tidal Account it informed me I needed Premium Connectivity. But somehow that lack of Premium Connectivity has been transferred to my Cybertruck (ever since that drive in my Model 3).

Anyone else have this happen or know how to fix it?

That doesn’t make sense. Premium connectivity is enabled per car and FS Cybertrucks have lifetime premium connectivity (at least for the original buyer). It would be independent from your Model 3. Talk to Tesla.

I know. that's why I posted this weird experience.

I'm wondering if any other Foundation Series Cybertruck owners have lost their premium connectivity. I think I'm a real edge case that has to do with some weird bug in Tesla's software.

I will contact Tesla but I wanted to check here first so I know more when I message them.

So no premium connectivity features work (like live traffic ), not just Tidal?
What does it say in the app under Upgrades->Manage?

I too have an early 2018 model 3. Free Lifttime Premium Connectivity was offered if you took delivery before July 31st 2018. its not linked to a card that would expire. Definitely need to talk with Tesla, never heard of this.

Tesla App > Cybertruck Tab > Upgrades > Manage (button at the bottom).

Does it still list "Premium Connectivity" under the Active tab?

Good question! That's why I ask questions like this here, I didn't even think to check my phone app.

It looks exactly like your screenshot!

And, yes, in the Cybertruck I don't have satellite maps, traffic data, etc. (unless I'm on wifi).

I have one Model 3 LR RWD that was delivered in Feb, 2018 and I haven't visited that one (it's parked off-site) to see if it's free Premium Connectivity still works. But my 2018 Model 3 Performance was delivered in September. It has Free Supercharging for Life but paid Premium Connectivity (which I didn't renew after my credit card expired).

What does the vehicle configuration show? Do you now have it has an option in upgrades?

Does service mode (or normal UI) show your cellular connection is working?

Yes, cellular always showed it was working, only Premium services were unavailable.

This morning I re-booted before driving and that's all it took! For now, it appears the messages saying I need Premium Connectivity to use streaming music are gone. And my satellite maps are back!

I should have though of re-booting myself but I rarely do a re-boot on the Cybertruck. In 2018 I remember re-booting my Model 3 every few weeks to fix little software issues.

Thanks for that!
