I’ve had the 20” Cybertruck tire for just over a year and they’re worn out! 16,000 miles and they’re done! What? And that just part of the bad news. The sound deadening foam pad that is inside the tire has a major problem of delaminating. When that happens, wheels are out of balance. I’ve had to take the wheels off several time and plead with Goodyear to warranty it. Not easy. And Tesla stays out of it. I’ve paid for road force balancing just to get it right at 80 mph. Still shaky off and on around 80-85. But now, it’s below spec on tread depth after 16 months of ownership. This is all unacceptable! And now, the replacement tires that work best are Michelin Defender LTX (great traction, Quiet, long life by 4x). However, they won’t look right with the aero covers that’s so iconic Cybertruck! Ugh….hate this.

Yeah, mine are toast after about 20,000 miles. I ordered the Michelin LTX Platinum's from costco today and will have them installed at the end of the month. The aero covers are a hassle if you go off road, just get center caps and call it a day.

I got 40k outta my first set of AT, when with another set and have 30k on them and still above the ware bars so I’ll keep pushing them. Don’t have these issues your stating myself. Maybe I’m just lucky. 🍀

I had one delaminate and my service center replaced it under warranty with zero fuss.

I just ordered these NEW Pirelli Scorpion XTM AT EV rated tires… I got about 12,000mi out of my first set of the factory Pirelli tires!

Thanks for sharing this. I’m really curious to see how your experience is with regard to noise vibration and and treadwear. Please keep us posted. I’ve got my eye on these as well.

Tires will improve and evolve. I can't imagine before the CyberTruck there were many 6,000lb 600 HP vehicles on 35s...
My 2013 Model S85 could SHRED a set of rear tires every 7,000 miles.
With proper rotation I could mostly get 14-15k out of a set of tires.

Not excusing the wear, but look at the physics. And look at my wife's Model Y getting almost 50k out of a set of tires in only 10 years of tire progress.
(And she likes the GO pedal too).

In time more tires will meet the new demands.
Meantime, I'll keep slamming the GO pedal.

then so am I. I got 42000 on the first set. Have 21000 on the second set and plenty of meat left.

I replaced my AT at 36K and probably would have been able to run them thru 40k.

maybe there are other tires that are better. But i wanted to keep the cyber wheel cover looking flush (as designed)

Looking for tires now myself, have a single tire that’s chunking at 14.5k miles, OEM Pirelli core tire, don’t want to get again due to lackluster durability.
