did you have one up there before? I’m taking my beast in a few weeks and wonder how they remove it and how it all looks? Yours looks really great.
my old one is slapped on with all their sloppy glue or whatever they used

Not this FS CB. My other FS CB had a Gen 2 factory for nearly a year before they replaced it with the Gen 3 with the metal bracket ends. That one came out great!

There's always a small gap in the leading front edge (enough to easily slide a credit card in, even on the one they removed. Behind that gap is the double sided adhesive tape (replacing the previous adhesive) . What I have done in the past is add a bead of black silicone chalking to cover that gap up so dirt doesn't accumulate in there.

Right, it looks like I'm seeing the background in the gap where it should be blocked due to the tape.
